I think the studios would be much more comfortable with the actor sets as they can gauge interest without spending the time and money to get 25 UHDs ready in one big boxset. If that doesn't sell as much as they want they'd be out a lot more than just 5 movies.

If a Connery set is out in June, in an ideal world I’d love to see a Moore set 6 months later, and that’ll be December 2025. A Roger Moore 4K Bond season over Christmas sounds like heaven

I suspect they'll do a box packaging the Lazenby, Dalton and Brosnan films together, probably after a Roger Moore box.

And that would irritate me as I have no wish to own any of the Brosnan films.

I will give them bonus points if they actually call OHMSS this.

I would lump OHMSS with the Dalton films, it can sort of act as an intro especially as it is referred to sort of in Licence to Kill..."He was married once a long time ago".

If anyone at WB is reading this please do the Connery Bond films with the same love and care that you gave North By Northwest. Use the same team if you can who did that, with new 8k scans of each film, original mono, both mono versions on Thunderball for all regions and utilise as much original artwork where you can.
Then repeat for Roger Moore and the rest of the series. Thanks

I'd rather they just do them all.
And what does one set's sales have to do with another anyway.

That might be too much for one set. I bet they split that collection into part 1 and part 2.

With this being Warner (given their latest releases) there’s a chance that they’ll include a version of original audio, but it will likely be even more processed versions of the already hideously overprocessed versions found on US BDs.
We all encourage you to bug them until they agreed to let you help.

Ask Joel Goodson for tips on how.

Some internal WB presentation/panel apparently. It was posted yesterday on reddit and that's what the user claimed in the comments, before deleting everything.

Edit: Here is the original source actually.

Thanks, I'll wait for a confirmation of this leak before getting hyped.

I guess that means it won't include the best Bond film of the 60s.

Individual releases or a Box set for Sean’s 007 UHD’s is a definite purchase for me without hesitation. Hope they do something special with the box slip or slips or steels, whichever format they go with. Would love something akin to Peter Jackson’s magnetic Gold Foiled box set of LOTR with individual cases, something really prestige like that so I can display it on top my film shelf. No sleeve packaging, just disc cases in a SUPERCOOL, SUPER-SLEEK, eye catching work of art of a box slip need it to fall in line with later releases though for uniformity. Spine needs the 007 logo, The Actors Name(The Connery collection or Connery years or Connery era) , maybe a barrel silhouette or a silhouette of the ladies.

Connery coming back to do DAF does put a spanner in the works when it comes to these sort of sets IMO. Instead of being beholden to the actors, they should release these in "eras" so you get Connery/Lazenby in one, Roger Moore's run in the next set, then the Dalton/Brosnan films in another set.
