yeah but the ps3 not being able to decode and bitstream shouldnt be a huge problem if you have a receiver that can do it for you so sq shouldnt be a factor

While she loves the picture quality of bd and likes the ps3 photo and video storage capablities, She still has no idea how to use it. I agree, for my own use the inability for a unverisal remote to control the ps3 isn't a big deal. However new and inexperienced electronic users may have a different view.

it's interesting how wives are.....my wife is the opposite.....she can't stand universal remotes because she has no clue what button to push to make things work.....she much prefers to use the dedicated remote that came with the equipment......my universal is collecting dust.
