I've always received timely responses from the mods/admin. Double thumbs up from me...

Cheers, Doc.

PS. And they're not automated responses or automatons, but they DO border on Super-Human... So be careful before they crush you while you sleep...

PPS. Like the Avatar Iceman...

I've hard to believe that a real moderator here said that... it sounds like some other member joked with you

And no one except you can control your site, unless someone hacked it.

If they are permanently banned they can't post here anymore :/ but if they are suspended they should get back soon. Normally an e-mail is sent out at the same time so you know how long you will be suspended/banned.

oh ok, was curious and i was asked and i didnt have answer.. too bad my friends got into trouble...

but, it was their action that done banned.

this is end of my opinion about mods... lets move on and talk about blu ray! I hope this will help blu ray.com and its members and the moderators. Feel free delete this thread, if OP is ok with it.

Default Are you guys serious?

This site is very busy. The forum is huge compared to other forums I have been a part of. I think it is ludicris for someone to expect a few mods to actively read and respond to every thread posted here. If you have a question for a mod it makes sense that you would message the mod and not create a thread about it. Sheesh to think that one of the silliest threads on this site was started to complain about silly threads.

Maybe they are sick of all the frivolous whining. Just ignore the threads.

Yes you are right part of the mod's job is to monitor the forums. However when a forum gets as many posts as this one it becomes impractical to examine and reply to eveyr post. This is why we have the report feature. To bring sketchy posts to the attention of the mods I think it is unfair to judge their performance because they don't reply to your every question. They don't work for you. This is a free site and I am sure that moderating the forum isn't their sole job. Cut them some slack or start your own forum if you are unhappy.

Please keep in mind that there are over 30,000 threads in this forum.
Mods can't spend all their time ON the forum in the first place, nevermind constantly checking the feedback forum.

The main problem is that a lot of people don't read existing threads, read the stickies or use search, they simply post a new thread. It's human behaviour and it's hard to do anything about it
Thanks for responding Ice. This thread obviously got WAYYYYY of topic...LOL I was just curious if we could add another thread option. Now we have like Blu-ray movies/Off topic and things to that nature. I was just implying we may add a "When is _______ comming to blu-ray. This way when they go to post a question like this they actually had a thread for it that people could discuss. If its not something people on here would not work thats fine. Just looking to make EVERYONE happy. LOL
