I think you missed brightness or color. There should be another number somewhere near the 55 and 0.
Oh and what about video/photo optimizer, x.v. color space, color matrix.....Did you also calibrate for these settings?

You might want to read through the AV forums. When I got my set a little over a year ago, this was the site I used to study up on the TV which really helped me.

Default taking advantage of 1080/24 on a3000

like sony's 120 hz lcd's the a3000 is always 120hz. in order to take advantage of its ability to accept and display at 1080/24 you set your input (ps3 or bluray player) to 1080/24 AND turn off motion enhancer. motion enhancer will interpolate (guess) and insert intermediate frames. when it's off the set will do a 4:4 pulldown @ 96hz. BLURAY LOOK GOOD.

I have this same tv... thanks for the advice. There's so many settings, I have no idea what they mean, and am afraid to touch most of them! Someone told me to keep my Cinemotion ON (or Auto?)they said it makes it look better? I'll try it your way, you seem to know what you're talking about! Amazing tv, I love it!!
