I heard that Uncharted is partially censored for blood in Japan, and this happens with either the Jp or US version if it's played on a Japanese PS3. If true, does this kind of thing happen on other games?

Only Resistance. But you can fix it with a US savegame.

aussie members can import the usa version from www.burn.com.au
it cost me $102 (australian dollars, including shipping) you just have to make sure you click on the usa version as they are also selling the censored aussie version!!!

They should do what we do in America and that is have it to where you have the uncensored game, but have to show ID to show you are of age to buy said game.
