Strongly disagree with V for Vendetta.

Rather than regurgitate films that supposedly have good PQ according to site reviews, I'll just list a few of the ones I own that seem most impressive:

- Casino Royale
- No Country for Old Men
- Pan's Labyrinth
- Ratatouille
- 3:10 to Yuma (surprised no one's mentioned this one yet)

As far as older movies go, I think 2001 looks great.

And more importantly, every film mentioned here is a really good one.

If you people haven't seen Shooter, rent it on Blu-Ray you'll be amazed! (And it's a very good movie)

Casino Royale was the first blu-ray i saw, and it's still my favorite pq wise.

Some others I thought looked awesome are:

POTC Trilogy
Troy
Apocolypto
Bridge to Tarabithia
AVP: Requiem
National Treasure: Book of Secrets
Spiderman Trilogy
Day after Tomorrow

Honorable Mention: Halloween (It looks amazing for it's age!)
