1.51 still freezes on me...PS3 - Page 2 - Blu-ray Forum

I have this issue on standard dvd's too, I'll try reset later since it didn't start until 1.51 firmware update. But So far from what I've read on both forums it's only blu-ray for others. Then again I'm only having problem with DragonBall Z season 1, which is mastered in high def but on a standard dvd.

In every instance that I have had with the disc freezing, it has been a dirty disc or finger print problem. The minute that I clean the disc, the movie will play right through. I have a Playstation 3.

I was watching the 2nd season of Super Gals on my PS3 the other day and
the subtitles froze while the video & audio kept going. I don't even know what
to do about that. I ejected the DVD and started it up again a few times and
each time the subs froze in the same place again. I finally gave up & threw it
in one of my DVD players. Fortunately I have a video processor/upscaler;
Super Gals could use the help too if you know what I mean
