Better than I expected. I ordered Dark City on the 2 and shipped on the 3 and I got it today with the free shiping. I'll order from them again.

I made several orders also of various items and very little has shown up after 10 days. I think a couple of problems are happening here. I'm not sure I trust Tower when they say they've shipped an item and the Postal service seems to have gotten worse in the past month.

Default wait 2 weeks max

I'm pretty sure it's the postal service, throw in a Holiday and I think it confuses them. I order Nmare Bfor Xmas and got it in three days, ordered three more BD and they shipped on the 8/29 and I'm still waiting, if I don't get them by this Friday Citibank said the would return the amount that I was charged to my CC and block my account so that Tower would not be able to submit any more charges to my card.

They've been pretty fast with my orders. In fact, one of the few times I used 2 day shipping instead of next day, it still only took one day to get it. That's all I can comment on though since I've only used next day and 2-day shipping with them.

Now, if you were talking about the website being slow, I'd agree. In the past, it would timeout more times than not when trying to get through the order process. Now that they've got the new system in place though, things have been a lot better (for me anyway).

Actually, they took a couple weeks to ship my Ghost in the Shell DVD, no joke.

I'm impressed. I ordered Dark City and a couple of CDs Tuesday last week, and received them last night. Free shipping too.

Yep, that happened to me once. I thought it was just because of the cheap shipping I used, but they take their time there.

It might depend on where we live though???

Default I'm now sure it's not Tower it's the inept postal service

I just received my package from Tower today, only because my regular carrier returned from vacation. I found out that my package had been sitting at my post office for several days, written on the box was "Door locked no key 9/5 attempt, yet I called my post office every day to see if a package was there for me and the continued to say no. Blame the USPS for being slow not Tower.

I ordered Persepolis and they shipped it on August 29. I ordered it with Priority shipping and it hasn't arrived yet! It's already September 10!

And the annoying thing is, I complain and they send me an email saying that they shipped it. Should I follow up and just ask for a refund?

I always go with the free shipping option from Tower. It is kind of hit or miss, but Tower's free shipping time beats Amazon's by about two weeks. I have had some stuff arrives tower in a few days and some as much as two weeks, but one week is about the norm.

I would ask for a refund for the shipping thats what I did and they gave it to me no questions asked.

I have been getting shipping problems with almost every site there is.

Amazon.com
Deepdiscount.com
Tower.com

I don't know, maybe I'm just bad luck.

Ordered Dark City on 8/26 and received an email that it was shipped out on 8/27. As of 9/16, I still haven't received it, and I live in suburban Maryland. That's slow...
