If you haven't ordered yet, consider checking out the Monitor 60 at ebay. There's a few stores set up where you can get them for $279 a pair before shipping. Considering the 50's go for $144 per speaker on amazon, that's a heck of a deal.

I picked mine up that way and couldn't be happier. Either way you'll be pleased.

Is there a big diff in sound with the 60 vs the 50 series, i thought i seen the 50 series for like 130.00 with shipping per piece at j&r and the center 85.58, so 360 max but question is this: they say new but i have seen threads stating they got loose screws and dents etc in new stuff, what are opinions to this way of buying? thanks Driver king i am still deciding on your suggestion and the money isnt the problem, i just want to make sure the extra is worth it?

Tis true, i will check into them driver king and the other suggestions. i will also look for a store with these here in louisville so i can listen to them, you have never steered me wrong yet and i love my first set up you suggested, so time to go listen and look and plan the arrangement, thanks alot for time also. Any ideas where to get stuff online with peace of mind?

Well, anything you buy from Amazon gives you Amazon's awesome return policy, so if something isn't right, you can get it exchanged or refunded. Their Warehouse deals can be great or they can suck. But, at that price, why not try?

I know i said i wanted to stick with polk, i was
looking at the sub you recommend, and looked at some speakers from same site, what you think about these as a choice along with the polk set up?
