I need to incorporate more of the house into the theater



My wife and I looked at an open-house that was down the street a few days ago....... I get there, (my wife called me and told me I had to check out the house) and I'm talking to a guy about the age of the house, and size (it was HUGE) and my wife blurts out.......

"And they have a theater upstairs"


O.K. now you caught my interest!!!! I was no longer interested in looking at the kitchen/basement, doors/floors/bathrooms etc..... THERE WAS A THEATER!!!!!

O.K.... so sight un-seen, I was excited at the prospect of the theater, but then it got better..... First of all, the house was 80-90 years old.... not quite as old as our home, but it had all the natural beauty etc... and then some.... so, not expecting this from the old house, my wife then says....

"Take the elevator to the theater"

WHAT!!!???!!!!???!!!! You serious Clark????

Anyways.... after a short elevator ride (yep, they had an elevator alright.) We arrive at the theater room....

NOW THIS.... was an ideal setup for a theater room (other than the fact that it was on the third floor, so no concrete walls/ceiling/Floor)

The room was an old servant's quarters.... so it not only had a bathroom, but it had a FULL kitchen..... It wasn't "Old" either... it was granite everything, marble floors for the bathroom etc..... and the kitchen/bathroom area was even separated from the "Theater" area by a wall that extended three-quarters across the room, so it would be easy to add a "Theater Entrance"

Now... the "Theater" my wife told me about.... YEAH RIGHT.....

Large DLP television, DVD player, and a Sound-bar. They certainly had the space to do a Front Projection, and 7.1 surround if they chose to.... but that was it.... DLP television, DVD player, and Sound-bar

I was told there was a theater, and I found a T.V. and sound-bar!!!! (although the room itself was certainly laid out for a VERY nice theater!!!

Once again, thank you Iceman and others who made this possible. It's the little things that go a long way.

When in time , if you decide to add ps3 games to the collection, I will be forever grateful

This is an amazing feature! Looking at everyone's set up makes me so jealous! I'll be taking pictures of mine tomorrow... it doesn't even look half as nice as these, haha. =P

A few suggestions for the gallery:
- Selection of the picture to display in the main gallery page (the picture you click to access a member's gallery)
- "new" and/or "updated" icons to know which galleries have been updated

Well, that being said this is a really great feature!

I notice when viewing peoples pics the uploaded time displays the current time. Its not a big deal just figured I throw it out there.
For example:
https://www.blu-ray.com/community/ga...p?member=Aaron

If you refresh the page the time changes to the current time, Is that supposed to be like that? It makes it look as if they are uploading as you look at them

All the new features lately have been excellent!

I do look forward to being able to comment on photos.

I can't thank you enough for all the recent changes and improvements! It's great to see this site develop along with the Blu-ray format.
