https://www.blu-ray.com/community/gallery.php

Will add comment + rating functions, better design, ability to browse all galleries, best galleries etc.

Will there be a main forum or landing area for the galleries on the Community page or perhaps a seperate page all to itself? As is when I click on your link it brings me to my own gallery of zero pictures.

Yes, we will add browse options of galleries shortly with thumbnails etc and also add so you can comment and rate other's galleries, that way we can add a browse option like "most popular galleries", "most popular galleries this week/month" etc. This is just a soft start so people can start adding their HT setups

Edit: I see that Chad has added his HT setup which looks very nice

What was that swing used for before you put that projector on it.

Thanks mods, another great addition.

Chad's set-up does kick ass and I particularly like the projector idea.

great job on this one!

i like the idea where we can end up posting our current HT's and have details about it. i hope that somehow, when members do post their pictures, a brief 'resume' showing what components are included...

lets wait for Mr. Sturgeon to add on his...

will we have a add comment on it if ever? personally, id rather not, and have further discussions instead thru our HT Pics section as to avoid any 'unsolicited' suggestions so to speak. some people dont like it, even if we all have good intentions...

Nice! I want wood floor so bad. Did you recently stain it? One of you pics looks like a lighter stain than the other.

Thanks. Just taken at different times of day/of the year so the lighting is different. Nice job fitting everything in that nook..

Yeah, it actually took some work to do that. Due to my TV's speakers on the side, I had to find fronts that were as skinny as possible.

Does the sound have more of an echo effect off the tile floor?

Ah, on my old HT setup it was murder - hence the carpets everywhere, the panels on the walls, the furniture fronting the speakers, the removal of a large dining room table I had where the recliner is now...and Im considering what to put on my ceiling...

Thats what I was afraid of. I want to tile my whole house, except for the bedrooms, but was afraid of that. Would I be better off going wood?

Hardwood is also a pretty reflective surface, depending on the finish - although not as dramatic for acoustics as tile. That's what decorative rugs are for, in my case, anyway.
