I think there was for a long time, but honestly this week was the first time that I thought the track was gone and replaced with real laughter. Or they just got a better laugh track machine.

I dont mind laugh tracks though, they are easily ignorable for me. I laugh when I think something is funny, and that's about it.

this show makes me cringe but it makes me laugh a lot more. watched every episode as they've come, glad I started with it at the beginning!

the multitude of roseanne cast that have appeared is probably my favorite thing.

Personally I'm glad they bailed on the Penny/Leonard love story. I know this is make believe, but it takes A LOT to make me believe that Penny would date Leonard... Shoot, it takes a lot for me to believe Penny would date Johnny Galecki the Hollywood actor!!!

But I do love the show, after the Office this show may have just overtaken 2nd place from Always Sunny.

Does anybody else besides me think the Season Finale we'll see Penny and Sheldon argue and then kiss with Leonard walking through the door?

I knew you were going to say that lol. But this is kind of different....their relationship is different, kind of a brother-sister relationship. But who knows.....they may end up together even though I doubt it.

Maybe not "together" but I could see them using what is described above as a cliffhanger to next season.

I never saw it over the air so I rented season one from Netflix. Watched the first disc last night. Freaken hilarious. It is SO in touch with 2008 and the geek culture. I almost peed my pants a number of time. The 2 lead characters are perfectly cast and the actors do a superb job. The script is so damn clever. It may be the best sitcom ever.

I too love this show, but I want it on Blu-ray! You would think a geek-culture show would cater to the obvious geek culture audience who would want it in the best format possible. I watch it in HD on television, so I would like to purchase it in HD for my collection. What gives?

I don't get it either. I passed on the DVD and I'm waiting for a Blu release.
