Yea that gonna be a safe bet. Only 2 that dont really (correct me if I'm wron Pro B) is Warner and Universal and that's not even 100%

The French release does not have English subtitles, obviously, the UK disc will. We will cover it.

Why on earth would a film in french not be sold with english subtitles in the UK?

I don't fancy our chances, but I'd be interested to see if the UK blu is playable in the US...

Well, I have a region free player, so no problem with playing it for me.
I don't know, I guess because French's version of INSIDE doesn't even have French subtitles...so I doubt this stuff easily from that.

I am really excited for this release! Since nobody is responding to my other threads...
Are THEM (Ils) and INSIDE both on Blu-Ray with english subtitles somewhere???

The only Blu-ray release of Inside does not have English subtitles. I haven't seen or heard any news about Ils coming to Blu.

The UK release of Martyrs should have English subtitles, but it will most likely be region B. Since I use a PS3, I opted for the Canadian DVD.

Has this been happening a lot? I know the US version of Paris, je t'aime slipped by with no English subs, just SDH. This, to me, is a broken release. Very shabby treatment of a beautiful film.

Just get a region free chip or a region free player. Believe me. It's worth it. Wouldn't just be for this movie.

I must have missed your threads: at the moment, the two films you mention above are not available on Blu-ray with optional English subtitles.

Price went down on Amazon.uk to £13.69 plus shipping, and it still shows a 5/25/09 release date. I might have to bite the bullet on this and get it with the plans to eventually my region free player. Unless anyone knows of another release coming to the U.S.?

I do not think the US will see a blu-ray release of martyrs. The only chance is maybe they will release it when they make the American remake of martyrs, since 20th century fox bought the rights. But then again we still may not every see it on Blu in the US. Since they have not even released REC here after the crap remake quarantine.

Netflix shipped me the Martyrs dvd today- as disappointed as I am that it's not on Blu, I'm equally thrilled to finally see it.
