same here..one intense thriller/splatterfest that may well be the best horror film of the decade!

ya it was pretty spooky and gory but unlike all those other french horror films people have mentioned, I believe Martyrs is made by Canadian French folk not France French folk. Am I correct in thinking this or am I way off the mark?

Martyrs is a French film and controversially received an 18+ rating in France which is similar to an X rating in America.

I saw this at the Toronto Film Festival and it is seriously a twisted piece of work. I brought a friend who would never normally watch this type of movie and he was often looking at me during the film with a "WTF" look on his face. That's all I'm going to say about this one!

Yep its tru so far... from what i've seen... i've ordered from hkflix.com alot, and they seem to stay up with releases pretty good. I hope everything is in place for this release as well, i've been waiting!!!!

I see this title up for preorder on a lot of sites inluding tower and target for march 24, but i cant seem to find any official announcements. Does anyone know if this one is confirmed? sometimes amazon and other sites put things up as wishful thinking...

I remember seeing an announcement that it would come to DVD and BD in late March, but since it's the Weinstein Co. (who pulled their Eden Lake Blu at the last moment), who knows.
