Well, for one thing, Pitt is way too old to be playing Lion-O. Maybe I wouldn't mind Pitt so much if I hadn't endured the crap that was Troy, plus the fact that the scenes they used were from that movie. Maybe Vin Diesel could pull off his role, but Panthro is supposed to be an older, wiser mentor and Vin usually plays a sort of cocky, a-hole.

And I am a fan Thundercats (I still the one collectible sticker book) and after the bastardization that was Transformers (they had Bumblebee pee on someone, WTH!!??), I don't want to see another childhood memory turned into a pile of steaming Hollywood dog poop.

I found it pretty entertaining but i must agree the cast has to be different but this trailer now has me wanting to see more this would be a cool movie to see for sure.

That was great! I never thought about a live action Thundercats, but now I'm convinced it could work.

I doubt "next year" is a possibility. However, if they can get the ball rolling on a script early within 2009, it could be out spring 2010 the earliest.
