Thundercats 2010????? - Blu-ray Forum

The inhabitants of the planet Thundera evacuate just before it is destroyed. They were pursued by a band of mutants. All but one of their escape ships was destroyed. Only a small group of Thunderans (Thundercats) remained. With only half engine power, the group, which was led by Jaga, had to set a course for the nearest planet. Jaga commanded their ship while the other 7 were in their stasis tubes. Jaga died on their journey to Third Earth and their ship crashed there. Soon they made friends with various groups in the area and they designed a fortress. Mumm-Ra the centuries-old embodiment of evil, along with the mutants that destroyed the rest of the Thunderans are a constant threat. But Lion-O, the new leader of the Thundercats, with his weapon the "Sword of Omens" will help the Thundercats to have a standing chance.

didn't see another remake of something popular in the 70s and 80s coming to the big screen coming.

Never watched it, but they should have Seth McFarlane to play Lion-O lol

Its true what you say about remakes, kind of getting played out. But this movie should have been done along time ago. But its gonna be a CGI movie like TMNT, that really blows. This needs to be live action. But we'll see I guess.

Its probably going to be CGI, i have to agree with the Previous user who mentioned that. I really don't see how they plan on having live action, with Lion-O. lol

Uh no power rangers is extremely cheesy live action. Voltron is animated and way cooler. Plus voltron has been around longer than power rangers so power rangers is similar to voltron.

I agree voltron sounds like a bad power rangers rip off! At least the power rangers had the cute pink power ranger!

How can Voltron be a rip-off of power rangers?? Voltron was out in the 80's? So, if anything, power rangers ripped the idea of Voltron. Actually, voltron was more like transformers than anything.
