The only thing that may work is the 1.3 certified splitter from monoprice, but like my situation, the splitter "see" the TV and only send your PS3 2 channels. Its worth a try, imo.

I've "heard" you can do this as there is no directionality in the signal. Folks that want to output a video signal to two different displays will use one, but you can only have one display on at a time or it won't work (again, from what I've read). Someday when I build my theater room, I'm envisioning a projector and 120" screen on one wall for movies and my plasma on another wall for everyday TV, games, etc. I'll need to be able to feed both the TV and the projector with the same signals, so they would need to go through an HDMI splitter to do this.

you would flip it around so that the buttons selected the display and not the source but I deleted that post as it was too general, it will not work with all switches and to my knowledge has to be done on a manual switch from monoprice and you have to open the unit and reverse a diode. they say you can bypass it but i don't like that, you are far safer reversing the diode. here is the post on how to do it http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=877595

HDMI is currently omni-directional. I asked this awhile back and was met with a lot of confusion. However, they are just now working on adding to the spec *groan* bi-directionality, so it'll work coming and going. Of course, this means new components and possibly new cables, but we'll see.
