It was a really fun movie. By itself not the best horror movie, but the 3D effects made it an enjoyable experience. Story and acting was like any good B-Horror movie and the gore was decent enough but nothing to write home about. I give it3 1/2 out of 5 stars.

Okay, so this was my first scary movie in theaters ever- I went for Jensen Ackels (omggggg......) and basically it was like the scariest thing EVER!!! Omgomgomg, I was like terrified the entire time! Plus it was really disgusting with all the gore and stuff, yuck. But the 3D was like supergood, it was kinda like watching real life with all the depth and whatever. Definitely an experience.

I thought other than the good kills, it was HORRIBLE. The acting was horrible, it seemed as it was recorded on a camcorder, and they even killed John McCain!

Mine was those plastic ones, real nice...those paper ones don't work with Real 3D i think, so all of them have to be those plastic ones.

The movie was fun. The acting was not that bad, acceptable for a slasher film. As for being recorded using a camcorder, that must have been the theater you viewed the film in. My theater uses DLP.

No, if you compare let's say MBV3D and The Grudge, one has that theatrical, professional kind of feel to it while the other one has a bit faster paced camera with a cam-corder kind of feel to it. It is not the PQ, it's just the pace at which the actual film is shot at. I can't explain it, but I KNOW for a fact I was not the only one who agrees...
and the acting; if you compare it to Black Christmas, yeah they were the same. If you compare it to like Halloween, it was not the same.
The kills were great and some great jumpy scenes...other than that, it was pretty horrible. They made their money because of the 3D aspect of it.

For the experience of the 3D, see it in the theater.

I actually went into this film more for the 3D then the movie. Turned out..I was really into the movie and wasn't all that impressed with the 3D. I thought the 3D version looked kinda dark. I thought the story was great. Kinda like a ten year later sequel for the characters in the original. VERY suspenseful and had be going back and forth between Tom and Axel on who would be the killer. GREAT FLICK!
Film ****
3D **

This easily the best implementation of 3d I've seen in a movie. It greatly increases the intensity and cool factor of the kills.

I don't see me ever buying this movie but it's a very worthwhile experience in theater.
