What Definitive is calling "bi-polar" are their combined speaker/sub rigs. It's not like the angled speakers we see in surrounds.

The subs are pointed out the sides of the towers, not directionally to the front with the regular drivers.

I wasn't too hot on that idea, so I wound up with their Mythos ST line. These also have powered subs, but I drive them as full-range speakers - as subs, they're really too small.

Default If i get new fronts they will they work with existing speakers?

Thanks for all the info. I really like the look of those elimental designs and i also like those polk audio monitors 60s, and also like the klipsch wf 35's. I already have a 7.1 setup i would just be replacing my fronts, would everything still work together fine?

You're going to want to timbre-match with the center, which usually means from the same line. I would plan on replacing the fronts and center for the best sound.

Finding the Monitors is going to be harder and harder since they're discontinued, but if you can you may find a great deal on them. However, the others are great too.
