Since I have found this site (Jan 09) I have been compelled to buy a PS3, LCD TV,100 blu's, and a sound system.. and I blame all of you!

I ... I have a problem..

Mar. 08 - Dec 08 I had 6 blus.

Jan. 09-now(from 6 to 58)

My gf bought me a ps3 for my birthday in July 08. I used it only for video games.

Once I started getting into audio/HD stuff, started my collection about a month ago. Purchased my whole collection within a 2 week span. I'm picky about the movies I own so it's not that large.

I also purchased a receiver, subwoofer and floorspeakers the same month. Getting a lot of heat from the gf so I'm trying to slow down lol

Just got my Harmony 880. Next is Quantum of Solace and then i'm going to slow down a bit

I just started buying blu-ray in january and plan to buy some more later. I am saving up for a 42' HDTV

I got my Blu-Ray player for my birthday (Feb 09) and am completely hooked. Its tough convincing the wife to get more Blu's because I have almost 700 standard discs so I've started trading/selling off discs to upgrade to Blu.

BTW, this site is an amazing reference for people just getting into Blu-Ray!

just started this month....9 blurays and 4 boxsets so far. i picked up an hd dvd player cheap before christmas for upscaling, so i tend to pick up a few of those too.

July 2007 - I bought my PS3 for $0.83 after trade-ins at Gamestop. I rented Casino Royale. I was hooked since then. To me Movies have never looked or sounded as good. Which made me want the audio upgrades I recently did lol. It was also during the 5 free movie mail-in offer

I started on Friday.

Bought my first one (Transformers). Bought my second on Sunday (Casino Royale). Off to buy a few more today.

I don't even have a player yet!

I started purchasing blu's about a year ago. I have been through the VHS years, (Had about 500), Laserdisc (about 100) DVD's (still have about 750) and now blu. And no, I am not going to replace all of those DVD's. However, I have replaced a few, with The Robe being the most recent replacement. It's been a long journey..from a 26" Sony that was in a wood console cabinet, with a RCA top loading VHS player (It really did cost about 800 dollars). I do hope that all of you appreciate the quality of Blu-ray's. This is an outstanding format. Practically perfect. I am not sure where technology will take us in the future, but I will be quite happy if this is a good as it gets.

i only have three movies for now. but i hope ill be expanding soon.
