I know, I know. Still, it would cost a crap load to get a plasma shipped across country, or worse yet, overseas. I don't get all of your special forces bonuses

I saw the A750 Samsung at Sears and the PQ looked horrible! I know it's a bad way to audition a TV, but it really did look bad. They really should put a little more effort into maximizing the quality of the image, especially since the people that work there get commission. Has anybody here seen the PQ of the A650 or A750, or own one?

Given what you said about plasmas not being an option, I'd also highly recommend the Samsung LN52A650 or 750. Not just because I own one, but after comparing it to my XBR4 and my friend's LG and Toshiba, the value of the Samsung can't be beat in my book unless you're comparing it to a Pioneer Kuro. Do take into account the screen on the Samsung is glossy so if you're in a room with a lot of light, you will get some glare and reflection. I have my 750 set up so all the windows are behind the TV minimizing glare but there is still some reflection although it doesn't bother me much.

This is what I would get, A Sanyo 1080p front projector for $1599, then $200-$250 for a screen and you are under $2000 and have 110" not a tiny over priced TV. http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/cont...=REG&A=details

Another factor is that I'm living in a house where I cannot really run wires through the wall because it's a rented house. Also, I'll only be here for a few more years tops. Until I get to a place where I know I am going to retire, I'm not getting a front projector. Also, when I finally do get a front projector, I'm going to get a really nice one.
