Thanks for all the suggestions. I have tried just about every configuration. I have called samsung and netgear and neither can find the solution. It has connected twice, but both times was not able to hold the connection or reconnect. If anyone has anymore suggestions, please let me know. I bought this model for this option.

It might be as simple as repositioning the router antenna. Is there anything that might block the signal ?

All settings that you have made on your player will be set back to factory and need to be reset after this update. This includes setting up access to your network. I have contacted Samsung and am hoping that this will not be the case for all future updates.

I did notice that all settings went back to the factory defaults.
But even after changing everything back to normal I can still not see my shared folder from my PC.

I know that seems simplistic, but is your computer turned on when you are doing this and not asleep?

Thumbs up The wireless firmware update went flawlessly

I just got my unit this past Saturday, replacing my BD-P1400. Took me a little bit to get the wireless working due to a ID10T error, but as soon as it made the connection to the internet, it presented me with a firmware update. I downloaded and applied it and it's been working perfectly ever since.

I'm having the same issue with the BD-P1600. Came on the forum to find out if it's common.

I'm using the BD-P2550 Model. I'm also having Sync issues with the Audio every 30 minutes or so with Watchmen Blu-Ray. The disc came from Best Buy. Not sure if it's a Firmware issue with my player or a Disc issue?

Default Question re: BD-P3600 player

I'm not sure which setting is best to use here. Do I use PCM or Bitstream(Audiophile)?

Samsung 3600 player
Onkyo 507
Thanks

Angry Same issue with LG BD 390

I had the same issue with audio sync on Bluray with the LG BD 390, so it sounds like it it is not just a samsung issue.

Every so often the audio would get off sync and I would have to fast forward or rewind or once I had to stop and restart to get the sync issues to go away.

Was pretty annoying...

There is a thread with a lot of audio issues addressed on here. I believe it is 'watchman audio issues/problems' is what it is called or something like that. The Samsung 1600/3600/4600 and LG 390 (think that is the model number) appear to be the problem players. The Samsung 2550 has worked fine for others so this appears to be the first case that I know of. There was other players with problems but it appeared to be a matter of updating the firmware. The samsung and lg's are awaiting firmware update to fix this matter. Mods I'd merge this thread with the other one going over this matter.

Had freezing issues with my 4600. Lip sync was fine...you can try adjusting your receiver's lip sync setting also. There was a firmware just this week that added mkv and youtube support. I wonder if it addressed the playback problems of Mutent Chronicles and Watchmen. I'd say get the latest firmware update if you haven't...do a master reset...try receiver settings. If that doesn't work...might need serviced.

Default Samsung BD-P3600 new firmware problem

Player worked fine with Netflix until the new firmware install over the internet.
Netflix will now only work for twenty minutes at a time and then gives message that router needs to be checked for internet connection. Spent a long time with level 2 support and bottom line was to try and reinstall latest firmware which won't get here for a week. I downloaded firmware update online and burnt 5 different disks as per their instructions with disk image and the player does not recognize the disk. Went into the router and changed the upnp settings to have the player see the router more often and that did increase the amount of time between drops by the player but it still drops the internet. As I said all was fine before the upgrade. Any ideas or help would be welcomed.

Just loaded this firmware update and now my center and rear left speakers have no sound. I re-applied all settings since the firmware set everything back to defaults. I'm using analog audio cables with PCM audio settings.. Any ideas?
