Like I said... over the budget.... but it's the best "smaller" sub I have listened to.

I cannot say I can compare it to much. I have heard a few Velodyne subs which were nice and a few Klipsch subs, but I bought a Dynamo to go with my KEF set-up and I love it. It is pretty compact and shakes the pictures on my walls. The bass is tight and clean.

oh man i know your pain! i hadnt planned on upgrading anything this year.. then i got a couple of hundred quid extra overtime last month.. so said hmm.. i'll upgrade my front and centre speakers... so i ordered the next model up in manufacturer i had (mordaunt short) when the speakers arrived they were literally twice the size i had figured on doh! so i had to bring them back.. so next i got two Monitor Audio R90HD fronts.. with a r180HD centre... then i wasnt happy with the surrounds.. so i figured id move the 90s to the rear.. buy another 180hd to pair for left & right and buy a 225hd for centre.. so now i had all new speakers apart from the sub... so i started mulling over saving up for one and the monitor audio rsw12 was the target.. but as usual i couldnt wait so pulled the trigger with the credit card and now have a complete new speaker set and one pretty perplexed wife.. plus a 1200 dollar credit card bill to start saving for

still though it does all sound pretty sweet

watched casino royale's pcm soundtrack the other night and it was astounding!
