My local place won't allow test drives either, or so they say. Maybe because I look 15, that's just the answer they're giving me.

When I was there the other day, there was a young guy who looked like he didn't make much money, test driving a Cayman, so who knows.

They were up to 5 370's though. 1 black, 3 silvers, and 1 royal blue.

Yeah I finally a dealer to let me go out in one last month. They had five on this lot versus just 1 when I went to the first one. It's a sweet ride but costs too much if you want it fully loaded. Especially when the residual will drop $10k that first year. If you just want the base model and no frills it is fairly reasonable.

Hey John, a sentra was my first car. They are solid vehicles.

Congrats. Did you trade in your Kia or do you still have it. Don't think you got much if you traded it in. Korean cars suck in trade in value

Just remember that when you're older, you'll look younger, and it'll be a good thing in a decade or two.

Haha. Hopefully. I've been thinking of just saying I'm 18 again, so I can relive the past 5-6 years.

If Miguel Tejada can benefit off lying about his age, why can't I?

well, too much bling is just the same as "ricey". Just me, and I dont feel the wheels.. SLK350 is a great sports car and I have looked into it last year before I bought my current car.

I still think SLK350 looks great as it is. With some more subtle rims, you're all good to go!

Pop quiz time:

I'll let you choose which is rice and which is bling.

Is it wrong to say I would do similar things to a Cadillac if I had one to hispanic-ize? I'd have to make it a candy maroon paint though, instead of that - and some decent Mossa Velize rims instead of those - and a nice limo tint. Then I could drive it.

I saw a car exactly like yours near the 55 fwy in Santa Ana across from my work. It didn't have plates yet but I couldn't see if they were the same as yours. Same color and model though.

JJ, I like how you embrace your inner minority. I have an inner Asian tuner in me. No bmw's for this whitey

Ok, so I don't mean to derail the thread, but...

After senior year in high school, I worked at a car wash with a bunch of friends (it just opened, and we all applied, and all got jobs there). So most days, when all of us were working the same shifts, it felt like we were running the place.

Anyway, keep in mind that this wasn't too long after the first Fast and the Furious was released. Some young (early 20s) guy drives up to the wash in his riced-up car, which I think was an older Civic. For whatever reason, we all started laughing at him.

The car wash is one of those automated ones, so you drive your car up to it, pop it into neutral, and then a little bar/roller thing pops up out of the ground to push your car down the track.

Problem is this guy had problems getting his tire lined up with the track, because I guess he didn't know how to drive. He had to keep backing up and trying again, and looked like an idiot. One time he hit the gas a little too much, and drove over the guiderail thing, and ended up puncturing his gas tank. How this happens, I don't really know. But we all started cracking up.

So now we had to shut down the car wash for a while, to clean everything up. And that's when one of my friends noticed the back of the car had decals along the bumper, in Japanese-style lettering that said "Got Rice?".

Not all imports are rice. There are right ways to do it:
