It's no more an indication of the end of time than the plague, mad cow disease, the leper colonies, the crusades, the third reich and HD DVD.

I'm gonna head off to one of the islands in the "What to do in case of zombie attack" thread, and hole up there for a few years. FYI, don't try and visit, cause I'm pretty sure not only will a bullet to the brain kill zombies, but also flu infected plague bearers, so I'm not taking any chances.

Sorry, I need an outlet since I'm stuck here @ work.
Just got a message from my wife. She took our son in and he has pneumonia and is being tested for swine flu!!! ![]() They said he has all of the symptoms of swine flu but they won't have the test results back for about a week. We've been told to keep him quarantined from anyone and everyone till we hear back from them. Gonna be the longest week of my life!!! |

My daughter almost missed her Washington DC trip due to having some cold symptoms. But no.....we didn't have to deal with actual swine flu, thank God.
Good luck to you, though - hopefully those test results come back negatory. |

He should be fine. Worst case scenario and it is swine flu, children seem to tolerate it much better then adults. You and your wife would be the ones who need to worry. Hopefully, everything turns out ok though.

Nothing here either.
I question a doctor that says anyone "has all the symptoms of swine flu", though. But then, I question most doctors. H1N1 (swine) flu symptoms = any other flu symptoms. They are not exclusive. The type of flu just speaks to the components of it...not what it does to us. That said, I hope your boy feels better soon, regardless of the virus causing it. |
