Thanks for the responses....

Grevlin, I'm curious, why did you say to "2. Remove the "bridge" piece on top of the entertainment center"??

Do you think it would look better without that? I hadn't thought about removing it, I assume you mean the piece at the very top and not the piece that the Center Channel sits on.

Ya know... I used the recommended seating distance for a 65" 1080p Display of 9 feet. That is exactly how far the head positions on my couch are from the Screen...

Really? I mean it's not like these are old tube TV's with lots of flicker or anything. Honestly it is no different than sitting in a Movie Theater at a distance so that the screen fills your peripheral vision. Obviously I am not trying to accomplish that in my HT as a 65" RPTV will not be the same as a 30 ft screen. However, I got my TV calibrated just right so the LAMP from the projector is not to hard on the eyes when the room is dark.

I think I got the optimal viewing distance, it feels right when I am sitting watching a movie.

Yes, I meant that top piece. It's not really a big thing, I just think it may tighten up the look. The piece sort of frames in white wall, and the light is usually meant for lighting up display items. I'm guessing you don't have it on often? Its a 5 minute experiment, you may like it...

I tried it, I actually prefer it with the bridge on the top. But thanks for the recommendation, it was worth a try at least.

Well, after 16 years of very loyal ownership I decided it is finally time to retire my old Klipsch KG5.5 Fronts. Since I own a Klipsch RC-35 Center channel I was able to pick up a brand new pair of Klipsch RF-35 Towers to match it and I will be replacing my KG5.5's with those this week at some point. I will post new pics when they come in.

Can't wait!

Did the second Sub happen?

Also.... I didn't say it before, but I'd love to have a room that sized for a proper setup..... It looks great.

2nd Sub has not happened yet. My setup still has to pass WAF and 2 subs will put me just over the FAIL grade. It is more likely I will get a Bigger more powerful sub in a couple of years. But I must say with my A3-300 properly broken in now it packs quite a wallop (even in my big space). I still have Recessed light cans and air vents vibrating which is noticeable when you have quiet scenes with lots of bass,. I also have a very well tweaked EQ.2 setup so that I can really push the sub to it's limits without the risk of overpowering it.

Nice new speakers Crypter, you are going nuts in there! I like it!!

Love everything you did. I don't think 9' for 65" is to close at all. I'm at almost double that at 11 feet (although I prefer watching at 17, guests like it up front). I wonder if you would still have enough clearance moving the pool table the other direction?
