well i havent looked at it in a while and only went passed the first couple of pages. I will however go back and try to go through the whole thing when i finish my room and redo mcacc. I did get alot out of it though and love the results

I just didn't want it to come off as me being a fanboy or super biased towards the product, so I wanted to give my reasonings and im glad you really understood what I was trying to point out. I am stoked for you on your purchase however...You will be extremely happy with it and with those Paradigm speakers it should be oh so wonderful.

Sorry it took me so long to respond to you, but here it goes.

I know you have the 03 and was curious on your thoughts with regards to Pioneer sc05. I've never owned anything Pioneer, no particular reason, just haven't and wanted to know your opinion. I've read alot of your posts and feel you could offer a solid answer.
Are they reliable? Is the MCACC pretty accurate? How is the upconversion? Compared to Denon 3808?
Last I was offered 699.00 through 6th ave. any feed back will greatly be appreciated.

I'm upset your 05 will cost you less than my 03 did back in December! As far as reliability goes, I had a lot of issues with a Marantz unit I owned prior to this, and so far, the 03 has proved very reliable - no issues at all. None. I can't think of one. MCACC, I thought, was far more in-depth and customizable than Audyssey. Hooking it up to your computer to get detailed results I also thought was a pretty damn cool feature. Upconversion, I don't know, all I do is watch Blu's and play old school 480i games,

I've never owned a Denon product, or tested one outside of simply speaker listening. Sound is all subjective anyway, I could only tell you technical differences. But now being a Pioneer fanboy (TV, Rec, SACD, HTiB) - I would say strongly go for it. I have had 0 issues with any of their products as far as I've owned them, and I've dealt with moody Philips, Samsung, Marantz, and Toshiba electronics. Put your trust in Pioneer. I'm going into separates soon, so the ol' girl will be only doing processing - but I recommend it heavily.

And I didn't read the rest of this thread before posting this. I bet you bought it already. Let me check back.

Hahaha yeah couldn't let him get away with that. But please tell me you watched college football live this week on espn??? It was Florida week! Every episode for the past 5 days had to do with a certain part of the Gators team and how bada$$ they are haha.

Espn was basically saying hey 99% of the Gators are back this year and better than ever so watch out!!! It was sweet....can't wait till september and especially sep. 19th!!!

No worries... I figured you were tied up. This pretty much re-confirms all the other positive reviews. I appreciate it.

Don't feel bad about the price. Its in the past and you can't look back. The 03 will serve its purpose especially now that you are integrating the separates. I'm positive you'll have good luck with that.

And yeah Tebow is setting his mark for sure. On one of the episodes it followed Tebow in the weight room and it showed him on the leg press...he had 14 YES 14 45lbs weights on it. F'ing beast!! I would not want him running me over haha

True story....My wife and daughter were out to lunch with one of her ole college buddies at Balihoo's, and what do you know Tebow and Coach Meyer were there eating lunch. She said there weren't that many people so she walks over and introduces herself. Next thing you know they're talkin and she gets a picture with him. That made her day, all she talked about was tebow this tebow that. Come to find out they were actually having lunch to discuss whether he was coming back or not. Pretty cool, if you ask me.

Only I go the short end of the stick, no autograph, nothin a big fat zero. sigh

Thats freaking awesome! That would be quite an experience to meet him and Urban. I know my whole family loves him and always tells my little sister that thats the kind of guy she needs to bring home. Great role model on and off the field and of all ages.

Right on! It should be in Thursday, which would be perfect cause its my day off. If Friday, will be able to do a basic set up with MCCAC, save it then get back to it.

Its sound is just so natural and clear. I can run it all day long and it never gets hot. The MCACC is just awesome, it corrected/adjusted the settings to where I swear I am in the movie. And besides its absolute gorgeous looks, the media streaming/direct ipod hook up (meaning no seperate dock) is my favorite part about it.

I just got my 805 about a year ago and I installed two, yes two, of the Pioneer SC-07's the other day for a customer and they sounded really good. I'm jealous. Might have to use the student loan money to buy one.

Yeah they are super nice. When I had my 805 I didnt think sound could get much better but boy was I wrong. When I got my SC-05 my whole world changed
