Need more choices...

Lord of the Rings
Spiderman
Pirates of the Caribbean
The Matrix
Terminator

etc...

I would probably buy all of the above in preference to Star Wars and Aliens

At the end of it all, it would be worth it.
LOL.. Well put!!

Default I'm with GROOVYONE

I'd rather see Lord of the Rings over either of those two.

They're trilogies in the hearts of the fans. Just like with all people we love, we overlook the mistakes and missteps of our favorite franchises. There is no Alien: Resurrection or AVP 1....or 2...to me. And there is only one Star Wars trilogy.

My vote goes to Indy. I'll watch those over Star Wars or Aliens any day. Maybe there's hope for BD release, with Indy 4 coming out next year.

Alien for the win!! The first two are movies that I've really enjoyed repeat viewing over the years. I didn't think Resurrection was all that bad either, but I hated #3. I'm pretty much bored with the whole Star Wars thing. I would buy it if available, but George can take his time releasing it if he wants to

especially in BD...

Damn, star wars is whipping aliens in the rear. So sad

Might do another, better poll.

List the "CLASSIC" "trilogies" - YES - I am aware that most of these are not "trilogies" but that is just what I am calling it. Makes it easier.

Pirates is not included. Its out, people can pick it up. We are talking about the "classics" that are not out.

We have..

Aliens
LOTR
Star Wars
Indiana Jones
Die Hard
Matrix
Harry Potter

Pirates and Spiderman are both trilogies. There are so many movies that could fit into this catagory. Lets stick to the original question. Aliens vs Star Wars.

I like them both, but I love my Sci-fi horror flicks a bit more than just Sci-fi.

It's gotta be Star Wars, man. You can't touch Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back. This one's a classic of vast proportions...
