Actually I was refreshing the page and monitoring them in real time, and they didn't sell out immediately. It took a few minutes for the variant to sell out, and a few more for the standard so fans who were ready should have been able to get one.

Mark may offer some artist proof copies via his online store, keep an eye out for that as his AP's sometimes feature original sketches on them too.

Thanks for the heads up. I think my problem was that they updated the store page before the home page. I was refreshing the home page and they weren't even on there by the time they were sold out.

I had no chance. Currently using tethered internet which is absolute garbage.

By the time I got the website refreshed they were all long gone. If anyone picked up either a Reg or Variant and doesn't want it let me know

Best thing to do before a print drop is to sign into your Mondo account and after doing so, go to "Store" and click "Posters". That is the page you want to refresh, not the home/welcome screen. There are other tricks and trade secrets but I can't spoil them.

One thing is never use Paypal, by the time it re-routes you to Paypal to sign in, and then back again, prints are generally sold out. With Mondo when you add something to your cart, really doesn't mean anything, its always been that way. It would probably make fans happier if they had the ability to give a person a few minutes to properly check out, like Ticketmaster does when you purchase tickets through them, basically holding the tickets for you for about four or five minutes while a person checks out. Mondo's system doesn't allow for that, it's basically get it while you can, as many of you already have experienced that already.

eBay is already flooded with them (no surprise) and that means everyone is basically competing against one another and rather than drive prices up, it will have the opposite effect. You may want to watch some auctions and perhaps nab on there. A standard was $64 shipped, a variant was $89 shipped my guess is you may have to pay around $100 for a standard, but after the various fees on eBay and Paypal, the seller isn't making that much so right now buyers have just as much power as sellers.

They always update the Shop page first and if you wait for the tweet you are usually too late. That being said, like Kinsella mentioned these prints were up there for a long time as far as Mondo standards are concerned

Mark (The Artist) said in his blog post that he would have the AP's for sale in the future, I'd go for one of those if I were you... he often offers sketches in the margin on the versions he sells, which is really cool imo.

I actually forgot to sign-in this time and still managed to get one, they were up for an eternity!

I'm not too disappointed, though I really need to get my hands on at least one BttF print this year! Nothing Jurassic Park has sparked my interest yet. The more I look at JC Richards print the more I like it, but something tells me there will be others this year.

Horkeys Lord of the Rings print was nice but not for the price it carries. I'm still holding out for a Stout Lord of the Rings trilogy

Knowing myself, I'm still going to source one of these Englert prints out incase the rest of 2012 can't step it up. I guess you can't get 2 Englerts in a week, or can you?

I wanted to order the Back to the Future one, but ordered the other one in a hurry once I found out it was the only one left.

But I've never heard of that movie, anyone interested? xD
(Its the cheap one, I paid 65 Dollars for it including P&P, I have no idea what it is worth).

That appears to be fan-art and not an official movie poster. There is a large amount of people who do fan-art, some very talented too, who create their own version of a movie poster, and sometimes will post them on Youtube, or other sites and people see them and refer to them as the original movie poster, when it's not the case. While this does look nice, and gives the appearance of being an official movie poster, it's not, it's just fan-created artwork designed to resemble the poster.

This site offered three different zombies of the Walking Dead prints either individually or as a set. They offered signed ones by the artist and the special effects persons who works on the show. There was a standard and a variant for each. I believe they have a new set that will be posted soon too.

If you contact Mondo you can probably tell them you ordered by mistake as you were trying for the BTTF print. Since their prints have not shipped, you may be able to get them to cancel your order and refund your money so you wouldn't have to worry about re-selling it. Just go onto their site, log-in, and click the "Contact" button and they should be able to take care of you.
