are you talking about

[Show spoiler] when you first land on the ship and you have to run to the end and open the door? I just stayed all the way to the left and killed the troops that came. I got to a point on the left where I had to go around cause it was blocked off but there was a gecko right in front. From where I was I could see him but he couldn't quite attack me. Used the ray gun to take him down. Then ran for the door and started to turn it but too many enemies showed up. So I hid behind some boxes, took out some troops, and another gecko. Turned the handle on the door again and got through. Once your in, make sure you stay there and let your health replenish.

Yeah, don't get me wrong, I love the game and the online play, it's just alot harder than any other multiplayer I've played. For example, last night I was shooting a guy up and used the whole clip on him and he didn't die. But he shot me in the head with a sniper rifle once. How long does it take until you can get an attachment for one of the guns?

Thank you man. I thought I was the only one having trouble with that part. I tried every conceivable path through there and ended up dead. For me it was the second hardest part of the game. It might be a little different for you. When you've finished the game, come back and highlight this, as it was the hardest part for me...

Yeah, dude, what had actually happened was I posted this ^ that night, watched some tv, went to bed but couldn't fall asleep. So I got up and started playing this level without having gone to check back these posts and with a combination of a little stealth and a lot of luck, I finally got past it and was so proud of myself that I kept playing and ended up going all the way to

, kept getting beat there, got frustrated and when the fuzzy screen with 'continue' or 'exit' came up, I exited! I was so pissed because I forgot to save and had to do it all over again. Luckily, I had help this time. But thanks anyways.

Well, I think you can still enjoy it while rushing through, but if you're saying that some people will do just the gameplay and skip all of the cutscenes, that's not cool. It's like when I'm eating with my parents, I'm a fast eater, and my mom thinks I don't enjoy my food because I eat fast. That's just not true. Thanks for the congratulations. That last Act was ungodly difficult for me. But when I think about it, I beat all of that act in one day. Yeah, I saved up all my loser alone time for the final act.

In regards to getting to the door in act 5!

[Show spoiler] What I did for that was.....as soon as the cut scene is done. Go up the ladder. bang a right and go up the ladder on the right(not the left) you come to a railing...shimmy along that railing until you're in the middle of the hallway. You have to have quick fingers here. You need to drop down and then grab the next railing before you hit the bottom floor. Ah if you can't get it just keep on going. Peek around the corner to the right & take out the frog. There may be another frog so be on the lookout. go up the stairs. When you get to the top, roll off to the right and you should land on some containers. Take out any frogs you come in contact with. then go up yet another ladder. Your only option is to go left onto a platform and up another ladder! Take it. shimmy down the railing and onto the platform. roll onto the duct system! ohh ya! blend in and take out any frogs that may be on the top or bottom area. You will then roll onto another platform located on the right it will bring you to an area where you'll need to crawl. this is where the gekkos lurk. Again, peek over the side to see if any frogs are in view and take them out. keep in mind to nail the snipers on the top ledges. once the right side is clear hop down and you'll be in front of some containers. shimmy through the containers and the barrier. creep along hiding in back of the boxes etc. almost there! continue crawling and look up high for a frog sniper. take her out. make your way towards the back wall and you should be good to go!

That's pretty much exactly what I did but, and I'm not trying to be arrogant here, killing anything.

[Show spoiler]Once I snuck past the first two frogs there, and went up the ladder, I was elevated until I was right next to the gekkos. And after I squeezed in between the containers and that round barrier, i layed down, sent out the Mark III to stun the two frogs in the left corner there where the door is, and by this time, I was usually spotted so I whipped out my Rail Gun, took out two gekkos, always two gekkos, ran for the door, shot two frogs, always two frogs, and the two times I beat it, I was lucky enough to have enough time to open the door.

lol haha i feel ya man, i beat it in less then a week i played every night prolly from 12-3 from monday through sat night. lol i wanted to play when no one would bother me with a phone call or anything. I just didnt want to miss out on anything the game meant so much to me. I never play any game other then sports game, i havent played anything else for the past 2 or 3 years, but mgs was a must cuz ive always been a hardcore fan. the last act can be a pain but it was well worth it.

MGS2 Digital Graphic Novel DVD version, I hope it's still coming to PSP. I spent a lot of time piecing everything together in the first.. I'd hope the save is readable by the second.

i wanna cry..im not beatin act 5....i reach the door but i keep gettin kicked..one of the ghekko blew up and killed me..i keep getin stab...i even bought the good guns,,,haaa ...and how the eff ghekko could see me at 99% invisibility...anyway,,,i will use the mk 11...do the troopers die when u shock them...,,,??? do they keep spawnin...cause im about to get nasty and blow the hell out of everything
