For posters you find in theatres try movieposter.com, it can also never hurt to pm kinsella here on blu-ray.com, a very reputable seller I've used in the past. For art prints of movies expressobeans.com is a great place for aftermarket.

Did anyone pick up a Mike Mitchell 'Disneyland' today and want to part with it? I was out for maybe an hour and during that window it dropped.

I'm going to check EB, hopefully I won't have to fork out almost $100 for a $30 8x10"

In general though, I'm rather shocked at how few of these prints are on ebay, my search is showing 9 for sale right now, where as the JP from last week had 40+ for sale. I believe the print run was higher on the JP but in general I'd say a good percentage of these prints landed in the hands of collectors, I'd say that is great.

I guess I am just cheap. Too many V for Vendetta items coming out at once. Money is a little tight at the moment Can't wait to pay of this credit card bill.

thanks for the info, I'll take a look at this places later. for me I don't really care it's a original or reprint just as long as it looks good on my wall.

I thought I would share my movie posters too, although they're not official posters, they've been made by me, hope you guys don't mind!

if there's another thread somewhere for alternative/fanmade movie posters, just let me know and I'm out of this one!

In that case I suggest eBay. Yes there are reprints and damaged posters there but there are also some good sellers.

@ butchO I like the concepts on them. IMO the Terminator, The Gift, and Dawn of the Dead turned out nice. What medium are they done in?

thanks a lot, I'm glad you like them! the posters are made in PhotoShop and are part drawings (I use a Bamboo graphic tablet) and part photo manipulations. for example: The dark knight rises - Bane, bridge, sky = drawings - city, wreckage, fire, smoke - photo manipulation.

That Jaws print is pretty ingenious incorporating the shark fin into the umbrella design like that.

Ugh, Laurent, why must you do this to me! This print was so close to being perfect it just falls short for me. Especially at $60.

Here are my $0.02 ...

I wish there would have been a smaller umbrella near Brody and the lifeguard stand that was leaning over the water and he did the fin there, so it actually looked like a shark in the water... with a better color scheme for the umbrella, mind you. Not just a black panel "fin" that sticks out like a sore thumb.

And the big umbrella front and center just looks unfinished and lacking detail compared to the rest of the print.

I love the idea, and 80% of the execution, I just don't think I can pull the trigger on this one.

Best of luck for anyone going for these though!
