Yeah it would be nice to know why. But if you want it on the 12th then I suggest you order from Best Buy and get release day shipping or you can go with the less day shipping an still get it on the release week and not have to wait an extra week for it from amazon

I got the same email. Looking at a June 29th delivery date now. Preordered in early April.

I understood from your comment on the Walking Tall announcement, that MVD is looking at re-releasing titles with existing HD masters including previously left off extras. One possible title would be Lionsgate's The Devil's Rejects. The earlier 2-DVD set had a massive (2.5hr) making of video diary "30 days in Hell", but this was left off the BD. Also, the feature was encoded in MPEG-2 and used a lossy DTS-HD HR 6.1 audio (not fully lossless DTS-HD MA). The film enjoys a cult reputation and I'm sure fans would plump for a new version with a high quality MPEG-4 encode (especially if you also could arrange for the making of to be presented in HD). Pretty sure a good encoder could fit all this nicely on one BD-50.

Please look into the feasibility of this release, thanks

I've already received both Lionheart and Abominable from DiabolikDVD.com. Amazon has repeatedly run out of stock on highly wanted titles like this. You'll get it, but they're in no hurry. You'll get it when they're ready to ship it to you. Your best bet is ordering from Diabolik. You have to pay a little more, but I got Abominable like three weeks prior to street date. So worth it to me...

Will it’s messed up amazon is shipping orders to people who ordered it late cause I pre ordered it as soon as it went live. Oh will I’m getting it from bestbuy on release day so it’s no problem for me.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. So if you mean by shitty films that some people love them and others find shitty then yes.

My copy of Abonimable arrived this afternoon. Planning to check it out later this evening. I've never seen this film, but it should be right up my alley. Definitely meets all of my prerequisites for a horror flick.

MVD should look into some more of those low budget horror films that have been released in the last 10 to 15 years or so. Some of them are not bad for their budgets, but were barely seen or quickly forgotten for whatever reason. I know rights issues are always a problem, but MVD is the perfect label to give low budget 2000's horror a second life on bluray. Movies like Abonimable probably would have never recieved the type of treatment it has anywhere else. I can think of a few others off the top of my head that could use the same MVD treatment.

I ordered my Abominable last week, after stumbling across it. I got it delivered today. Not sure why Amazon got to to me before some of your preorders. Could Prime members get bumped up in line perhaps?

I hope that is true. It was low budget and obviously has a lot of similarities to Night of the Demons, but I found it entertaining enough. The comedy worked in my opinion as well.
