yes...I was pretty upset to see my Juggernaut Armor walk away. lol. i recommend you save often just in case you make a decision that you end up regretting later. I can't even count how many times I started over with this game.

I have some more questions for you guys (it never stops!): 1) For the most part, will characters stay with you if your approval rating with them is positive? 2) Does everyone have a special gift you can give them that they're partial too? I gave Leiliana the andrasian rose/flower and it prompted a little mini-dialogue and gave me a +19 approval rating. 3) what are the best ways to build approval with teammates besides through dialogue? |

2. Most if not all of the party has one or 2 special gifts that will prompt a dialogue. Also certain gifts have a greater affect. For instance, jewelry gives Morrigan +6 to +10, while it gives others +1. Everyone has a theme of gifts that they really like. 3. See above. Also, doing their side quest really helps, Morrigans mom, Allisters sister, Lelliannas old mentor ect. |

I don't really know where to ask this so I'll ask here. Christmas is coming up and my brother loves RPG's. I bought him Oblivion last Christmas and he has played it non stop until I bought him Demon's Souls.
Do I buy this game or Borderlands as the next RPG? Thanks guys. |

I'm not sure how low ratings would have get but honestly I don't think it will ever get to that point. None my characters have gone below the halfway mark. The ones I lost were single game changing decisions. Another way to improve your approval rating is complete their side story. All your allies have a side story. I been playing this game forever. Part of me is sick of it, but another part of me keeps coming back for more. I still haven't even opened Assassin Creed 2 or Modern Warfare 2 yet. lol. Out of the three characters, I seems to like the Rogue the best. there's so much variety being a rogue. First time I played I was a dual swords guy. Now I find myself sneaking around laying traps and watch them go off. It's pretty fun. There should be a way for you to make lots of money. I'm spending all my money on traps. lol. @Beefbowl. There is a cheat to dupe items. You can dupe tomes and sell them for a ton of cash. It would only take a few minutes to make over 1000g.

How do you do that? Not sure if I want to use this, but better to have it and not use it then the other way around.

Please, if you will, use spoiler tags! The help is much, much appreciated, but sometimes we don't all want it at the same time.
I have Borderlands and found it a huge disappointment, and that is the reason I am playing this game, now. It has not story, and it is very monotonous. The graphics quality is very low. A tad better than Road Runner/Coyote cartoons. In my spare time, I'm trying to collect Dead Space trophies rather than play Borderlands. It is nothing like Fallout 3, which I found just as addicting as DA:O. I'm really bummed, though, that I can't take my DA:O save games from one machine to another. I wanted to play today, and hang out with my birds, who live upstairs. So I ended up frustrating myself shooting asteroids in Dead Space all morning. By the way, I'm a little bit disappointed with Wynne. I let Morrigan go in exchange for her. I lost a lot of offensive magical power, and I'm still using a lot of potions for healing. Maybe I just suck at this game, too! |
