except wowhd posts all dutch shipments through a dutch warehouse, all purchases I made on wowhd where shipped inside The Netherlands Also wowhd never charged VAT, and Ive put up orders up to $100 and never seen they charge it. It seems like its just you brits that are getting charged extra

Looking to purchase a couple of Shout Factory boxsets (Omen and Fly), which are both way over the usual £15 threshold I tend to stick with. Any reason not to order both at the same time?

Even with the 20% added charge I can't find the two cheaper elsewhere.

I bought my Omen collection off of allyourmusic's ebay store. If you buy 2 items at once they take 15% off. So if you bought 2 Omen boxsets at £55.00 each they end up being about £47.00 each whilst also being customs friendly. The problem for you is they dont have any Fly boxsets. They have not had new Scream factorys since Big Trouble in Little China released but you could add another title and still get 15% off. Hope this helps.

Don’t worry, you will also most likely be paying more next year when the transition period is over. I guess many can promise that too. What’s one small-fry scam to another more notable one?

So if you have to return an item to Wow you have to send it to the US? My 4K Field of Dreams is a faulty, pixelated mess throughout most of the film. It presumably costs a fair bit to send something overseas, plus it’ll take a while for it to arrive to them, and then further time for me to receive the replacement.

Would probably be quicker and easier to just order another copy.

I know all your music (WowHD's storefront on Amazon) have a return address in the UK, I believe Wow has the same one. If you contact them via email regarding the problem, they'll provide you with all the info.

If the item is defective, you don't need to pay anything. If you have to send it back, you can demand a refund for all your shipping expenses.

Not sure if this is a permanent thing (it probably isn't, given most of the newer ones are still the same price), but many of the Sony MOD titles (they're pressed btw) are finally under £15. They include:

Robin and Marian
White Sands
Heroes of Telemark
Freejack
3000 Miles to Graceland
The Whole Nine Yards
Pacific Heights
White Nights
Higher Learning
Stay Tuned
The Principal
Battle in Outer Space
Pendulum

Fill your boots. Sadly, Young Guns II isn't listed for some reason. Used to be, and I doubt it's OOP. Worth keeping an eye out, see if it comes back.

I ordered Suspiria 4K from them for £37 yesterday. I just checked the price again and it’s down to £30.

My order hasn’t shipped yet and there is no way of cancelling the thing and reordering at the lower price. The See You Next Tuesdays.

You have to contact them using the contact us form to cancel stuff, quote the order number etc. I get a response the same day when I've cancelled before.

You can pick up some of the 101 Films titles pretty cheap, £2 if you can find one in Poundland.

Well i guess it would depend specifically on what result you are wanting to know if it's luck?

One thing I noticed from ordering from WOW HD is that when they say they have dispatched your order on the day, they haven’t. It usually takes them a week to post it after they say they have actually posted it.

That's not my experience at all. Through December I ordered about ten items (separately) and no order took longer than ten days to reach me in England - even in the run up to Christmas.
