You're in the wrong section. You might also want to look into using punctuation.

Simple - pick a couple movies you like and buy the posters for them...

It really all depends what movies you prefer - I'm certainly not going to buy a cool-looking poster of a movie I don't much care for - but I'll buy an average-looking poster of a movie I very much enjoy. And, usually you have 2 or 3 different posters available for any given movie, sometimes even more.

But yes, this thread is definitely in the wrong section of the Forum...

AND... Bite my tongue - I see we've now been moved into the "Mondo" thread, so I will vacate the premises. Later...

There's little point in this thread anyway. Everyone will just list their favorite movie posters based on their own tastes. Like me for instance, I'd post a Metropolis poster, and probably something like Seven Samurai, but that in no way means the op would like those. The op should buy posters based on what movies he likes, not what others like.

Not sure why you feel that way. There is an objective consensus that every home theater should have this poster on display.

Glad I haven't had a chance to get into Game of Thrones yet or i'm sure that GOT show would empty my wallet.

i worked in a theater back in the early 90s while attending college. my displayed posters currently are an original Tombstone, and a reprinted Trick R Treat.

I have 3-4 slightly water damaged Schindler's List, an original Reservoir Dogs, 2-3 original Jurassic Park, Jason Goes to Hell....that Pauly Shore movie where the farm girl goes to college...Greedy...some other goofy flicks

In my generosity (stupidity?) I gave nieces and nephews original Lion King, Aladdin, Little Mermaid....Batman Returns....some other cool ones.

Schindler's will go up as soon as my UK Digibook gets here!

I used to have a friend who worked at the movies, so I got a lot of posters (i.e. Dragonfly, E.T. Anniversary, Orange County, and much more).

I've got a lot of other posters that my local theater gave me, I have some reprints, and a bunch of others.

I'm currently trying to acquire the posters of my favorite films so I can put them in my room and in a theater room (when I have one some day).

After Game of Thrones Mondo has a new gallery show.

[Show spoiler]

There better be some online releases for this show, otherwise I need to plan a trip to Austin.

Added spoiler tags since that image is massive

My buddy that lives in Austin is hooking me up for this... I'm just trying to figure out how much money to send him. I'm guessing in the $300-400 range.

Some of this stuff better make it online! I'm assuming secondary prices will skyrocket regardless of prints released.

or hopefully it's something I can live without

Official UK theatrical poster for Iron Man 3 just announced. Can't wait to get my hands on this one. The second and third pics are international theatrical posters also just announced by Marvel.

If anyone knows where I could get my hands on a double sided poster of "The Fountain" I would be most grateful!

So our resident nice guy roar picked me up a copy of Taylor's Jurassic Park from earlier this year, and it's been a long trip to the Great White North and back again to finally arrive in my humble abode.

Went to a local home decor store today to find a frame and saw this one right on the end cap and said "yep this'll do nicely" and didn't even bother checking out the rest of the stock. I think it came out looking great, the animal-print and the copper/black color really compliments the style of the print and the idea behind the film.

(photos are enhanced a bit to show the color/style of the frame a bit better)

Thanks again, roar! My daughter hasn't seen it yet but she's going to freak out, JP is her favorite film (as well as mine).

Wow!!! That turned out stellar! What a score on that frame and it was nice to be able to hook someone up after grooveska hooked me up with the Ken Taylor Tarantino print... which I hope to get framed one day but where the heck do you go looking for 9x37 frames! Thanks a lot for that odd ball print size Mondo

The Fountain you say... that's a tricky one, are you referring to the 2006 Hugh Jackman/Rachel Weisz movie? I haven't even heard of that one until I googled it.

Kinsella, you have any enough on the domestic releases of this poster?

Edit: enough should have been info
