The various character ones never made their way into real life. They were "internet posters".

The poster doesn't do a lot for me, I prefer Ken Taylor's. I do however very much want the LP, I've been dying for it to be released. If I don't score a Stout on the 22nd I'll hunt down the existing Drive LP release. I just want the music on Vinyl!

I wouldn't assume there is an Alien print based on a few handbills, I mean there could be one, but there wasn't a BTTF print and handbills existed for that. I think some of his handbills are just little added bonus things he throws in, not so much an indication that a print is coming. But you never know what can happen in the world of prints and posters.

Lots of confusion out there regarding Iron Man 3 mainly due to the fact that every website under the sun reports promotional images released by the studios as "posters" when in reality they aren't posters at all. As Adam mentioned, they are online posters, meaning they are promotional images they are made to resemble a poster but are just official online images.

For the record, and to my knowledge, there are only two official movie posters for the domestic release of Iron Man 3, one being the advance and and the other being the final style, with the latter image being released online last week, and the actual poster should hit soon if not already into theaters. As most here have noticed by now, most, if not all, poster dealers haven't been able to get them. The only ones out there are the ones being taken, or given, by a theater that get posted on eBay. Some dealers who resort to buying from a theater contact so that generally means they can only get a few at best. You can go the eBay route but remember a good portion of the time the ones shipped to theaters can suffer edge wear damage from being poorly packaged up by the studio's distribution centers and sometimes an eBay seller won't disclose that, either on purpose or not.

The majority of the images released though are not actual posters, and so far it appears the international styles are the same as the domestic styles with the wording at the bottom being different (much like what was done for The Avengers) with the domestic release date at the bottom of the poster for the U.S. style, and the "In Cinemas Soon" for the international style. Regardless, anything Iron Man 3 is VERY rare and will be hard to come by, which means there will be a high demand, but low supply, much like what happened with the Avengers final style poster which can command $75+ now easily because of the fact that not many "near-mint/mint" ones are out there.

If I hear anything Iron Man 3 news, I will continue to post as I know there are a lot of Iron Man fans here, including myself.

Yeah Stout posted on his blog that they do in fact mean nothing so looks like no Alien/Prometheus print at the gallery show.

I saw that as well. Oh well. These handbills are going to keep me busy for sometime I imagine. So far there is the 5 different handbills, 2 of which have color variants. If anyone on here purchased a set and ended up with doubles let me know, I'd be willing to purchase as I have nothing to trade

Has anyone had any luck purchasing a poster or print at a 'random' time without any given notice?

Mike Mitchells Gambit JLU did just that to me today. So pissed.

If anyone on here managed to snag one and feels buyers remorse (on a JLU? doubtful.) I would happily take it off your hands.
