The very ending track, the one which has no singer, the close to end moments of that track sounds so good, bass is one of the strongest I have ever heard.

Exactly the way I feel. The movie would be so much more complete if there was a special features/featurette disc included. I can guarantee that they must have a TON of behind the scenes material they could throw on there.

I do have to say though, one of the best damn movies I have seen... in 3d or not... it's just so damn beautiful in bluray on a big screen with a kicka** surround system, that's the way everyone needs to experience it...

That would be the end titles edit of the cue "Gathering All The Na’vi Clans" then presumably?

Welcome to the world of Samsung. My player died after about 6 months. I have a Samsung HDTV that's going on 4 years old. I never had an oz of trouble with it but Samsung BR Players are horrid.

Try doing a firmware update, that might help.

Good Luck.

Yeh, that one.
And the que before I see you starts feels great too.
Just the overall song in the gathering of the tribes chapter is great. It is so bass heavy="epic" feeling

I'm overly surprised that this dropped to $17. I should have waited.

USA My TV is glowing

I just got to see this last night. What an amazing experience. I never knew my DLP could produce such colors. The audio really stood out. It's like you were there with the creatures around you, really reference stuff. The picture is so unlike anything else It's hard to rate. Some parts look so directed at 3d and too fake while others looked perfectly believable as another world. Overall it is an amazingly beautiful picture. Story wise it wasn't bad. I hate to see another Director writer group throw curses in for the sake of having them, it just cheapened the movie (it wasn't that heavy but there anyway). I look forward to picking up the four disc in November.

I read somewhere that this edition will be disappearing when the november edition comes out. Not entirely sure this is true, but pretty sure I read something to that effect.

Which would make the barebones release a collector's item in its own right.

I can't seem to find it now, but I remember several signs around town said "For a Limited Time Only" and I also remember seeing online in a few spots that this release would go out of print on 31 July (I believe) ? Which sounds about right as that would give it a couple of months to sell through the copies stores still have available before the November release.

I could see them releasing commercials in July, "Going out of print... get your copy NOW..." sort of thing. Followed by ads in October/November, a "New extended version... don't miss your chance..." deal.
