Ok, interesting. New DV transfers? Could be amazing or a real let down. I’m used to not getting my hopes up though…

All three JP films, as well as the first Jurassic World movie will also have Dolby Atmos now.

Huh. They’re probably just the same masters in DV with the DTS-X swapped for Atmos, but I’m definitely paying attention.

Interesting for who's doing the audio commentary for the JP Trilogy as those original releases had none.

It's for Jurassic Park III, and it's with the Special Effects team. The same commentary is on previous releases too.

Just phrasing. At the top it does say newly remastered, so I have to hope these will be proper new transfers.

Clearly new discs for the first 4 because all the special features are NOW on the 4K UHD discs vs the original releases.

Have a feeling they mean DV pass on top of existing master so I'm keeping my expectations in check! We shall see.

Why does Spielberg not want to supervise the transfer one of his best films. It looks decent in 4k but it could and should look heart stopping.

Hopefully the new Atmos track gives some of the lower end back to the audio that was missing on the DTS:X track.

The original trilogy always deserved better. Glad to see they're revisiting this and adding DV and Atmos. Let's hope they don't screw it up.

Pre-ordered but cautiously optimistic right now.

I'd be curious to hear what these sound like with Atmos compared to DTS:X. I'm just not paying new releases prices for these. May pick them at during a holiday sale.

I’m sure it’s too early to tell, but is there any indication that this is an Amazon exclusive? Or are they just the first to get preorders up?
