“We set the bar pretty high. For me, it’s always about story. As long as the action sequences move the story forward, that’s what’s important. I think we’re just having to look and see how we can involve the characters in the story with whatever dinosaurs we have in the action sequences. It’s a challenge, but it’s a healthy challenge.”

We sort of had that with TLW, at least the T-Rex lose in San Diego. Beside, how many "OH S#!T!! There's a dinosaur in my backyard!" references can we take before it quickly gets old.

I didn't mean like that, more a post-dino-apocalypse kind of thing. In any event it's a throwaway idea, the point is I want something new. If this is "oh my we need to go back to the park and we must hire Pratt to lead our team" then it's a big Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

I'm not a fan of Lost World in general but that bit is great, as well as the double-trouble T-Rex attack earlier in the film.

I must confess though, I like the San Diego bit for the goofy movie titles in the video store just as much as the dino rampage, I'm still waiting for someone to make Tsunami Surprise with Tom Hanks.

The part of that whole "double rex attack" sequence most people fawn over is the trailer being pushed over the cliff, but what I like even more is when they come back for round two and rip Eddie in half. It's awesomely brutal.

The video store is pretty good, one of many bits of humor I actually really love in that sequence. I think a lot of people just take it too seriously.

Jurassic World 2 eyes Brecon Beacons, Wales for filming!

The lush green countryside around the Brecon Beacons was perfect for the movie [and] Penbryn in North Wales is also expected to be used to film some scenes’. The lush green setting and countryside fitted the bill. Producers have been assessing potentially suitable areas all over the UK but chose the Valleys as a prominent area to film.

Jurassic World 2 will have a budget of 260 million dollars!

Notably, Bayona confirmed that the budget for the Jurassic World sequel would be 260 million dollars. This is an increase of one hundred percent over Jurassic World's production of 150 million dollars. Bayonne did not give a specified reason for this large budgetary increase.
