Yeah, WW could have stuck the landing a little bit better in the 3rd act.

I still haven't seen Wonder Woman so I'm only going on her BvS persona; she seemed to be toying with Doomsday frankly. She was absolutely loving the battle (and after a lifetime of presumably staring at walls, who wouldn't) and may have been dragging it out for her own sh*ts & giggles. Maybe that's not her persona in her origin film, but again a lifetime has passed and she might have changed. She "doesn't care about humanity" (paraphrasing here) in BvS and might not mind that Doomsday is tearing Metropolis a new a$$hole, so long as she gets to have her fun before he dies. I think it adds to her character personally.

She does step in to save Bats though, but that might have just been happy coincidence; seeing a big load of badassery about to go down whilst on the plane (would YOU wanna fly with a monster like that on the loose who can shutdown a city's energy? That's a kinda weird scene as nobody but her seems even interested in what's happening) and wanting to break out the toys for some fun at last. She does "turn good" in Supes' funeral scene in the end.

Patty Jenkins brought out the heart of Wonder Woman. I don't trust the Justice League directors to do anything but give her some cool slo-mo moves.

LMFAO @ the fanboys thinking they are not "emotionally invested". Denial is a helluva drug. Almost as potent as cocaine.

See that ClownPrinceofCrime has posted in the Wonder Woman thread.

Assume that his post consists of whining about fanboys.

Take a look.

Suspicions confirmed.

Funny how I find myself in love with you
If I could buy my reasoning I'd pay to lose
One half won't do
I've asked myself
How much do you commit yourself?

It's my life
Don't you forget
It's my life
It never ends

The "Godkiller" sword was destroyed, that's a different sword. ( And she was the Godkiller, as opposed to the sword, anyway. )

Honestly, the film stands alone from BVS perfectly. Just edit out the bookends and there you go.

Gah, if internet movie forums are any indication of humanity's fate... we are for sure on our way out as a species. Dear Lord, nothing is fun and light anymore... everything is 'picked apart' down to the smallest speck of a detail and everyone fights like 6 years old's and speaks like their opinions should rule the day. Just looking over this thread and the Star Wars Episode IX thread this morning it's just absolute insanity.

Love and like what you want... and hate and dislike what you want. It's that simple. In the end tho let people have their fun. It just blows my mind the A-holes who keep coming back to threads of movies they don't like and pissing all over everyone's fun and then chalking it up as "hey, what's the matter... can't handle an alternative opinion fanboy". No I actually can handle an alternative opinion... but when it's reiterated and regurgitated over and over and over and over again and spoken as if it's absolute fact it all just gets tiresome. Wonder Woman was seen as an AWESOME movie by the majority of people out there... period. End of story... the numbers don't lie.

Think it's overrated? Think it's third act is weak? Think her uniform didn't have enough color? Think Gal Gadot is too skinny? Think that the Villain sucked? Ok... that's fine... it really is... you're entitled... but guess what... you're in the minority with that opinion. Most people simply don't agree with you. It's ok to state your opinions and have friendly banter, but to keep coming back to forums of movies you didn't care much for over and over and over again is nothing short of just proving you truly are an A-hole or that you have a mental deficiency. And that's a fact.

Just got the shipping confirmation on my 3D Blu for the movie. They said it should be here by 9/23, but its street date is 9/19...I am sure it'll show up by then.

That goes both ways.

It'd be great also if people like you would stop telling us over and over and over again how much of a masterpiece these movies are, and how we are basically just dumb for not liking it. If these movies are so awesome, then they shouldn't need you to come to its defense.

The numbers may not lie, but they certainly don't always tell the truth, either. Just because people spent money to watch these movies doesn't mean they came away liking it. Yes, people liked Wonder Woman. Lots of people did not like BvS, however, regardless of how you try to spin it.
