Going to double check the invoice to make sure I did infact order the variant before I send them an email.

haha it'll be simple. Just be on the ball and you should be good. There's 650 Ansin prints total so plenty to go around.

Checkout and panic while it says 'processing payment'

i got to that with the horkey got man i was bummed.

true 650 but only 200 variants. to add to the mix i'll be at work, so going to hope it drops when boss is away

Good luck too. Still debating if I throw all my eggs in the basket for the variant or go with the more regular

650 total prints for an Ansin and a very popular character like Iron Man means it will sell out in seconds. The variant will clearly go first but my guess is these will be gone within ten seconds tops. I would not be surprised if 10K people at least are trying for less than 1000 prints. Site will be bogged down as usual, good luck to all, I feel the on sale time is coming very soon..it's 8:37am while I type this, my guess is by 9:03am they will be up.

I grabbed an Ansin Variant... shipping to Canada has gone up! $25. I believe my last order was $17. I'm surprised I got one, I totally flubbed my entry. Had to enter my cc 3 times... I was surprised to make it that far in the order and didn't even bother having it in my clipboard.

The reason why is because we saw a large postal increase the end of January and international mail was effected big time, especially Canada. While Canada used to be fairly inexpensive to ship First Class parcels too, it's now the same amount to ship First Class to Canada as it is to ship First Class to the United Kingdom so Canada got hit hard and because of that, rates increased significantly, which is why you are seeing Mondo charge $25 now as that I believe is what they were charging for UK customers, etc. Domestic shipping even went up as well, they are now charging $15, so it went up $1 from before.

I believe the prints dropped at 9:03am pacific time, I was chatting with my friend over email and I told him between 8:46am and 9:03am. I was able to get the variant and the Phantom City print as well.

Last night was a screening of The Thing in Los Angeles with John Carpenter in attendance. A print was sold there, by artist Randy Ortiz, limited to 325 copies. I suspect Mondo will have the unsold copies up for sale soon. I wasn't impressed with it as you can view it online and a few people have it up on eBay. Tonight is a screening at the same theater of Escape From New York, with Kurt Russell in attendance, unsure if Mondo is doing a print for it.
