These magenta transfers make me wonder, are there any films that were meant to have a magenta color timing?

What really sucks about this, we all want to pre-order this, but we also want to make sure the OG trilogy is ACTUALLY remastered (especially JP III).

I’m happy with the “World” 4K trilogy; but I’ll happily upgrade the first 3 if they’re truly remastered.

The Lost World 4K doesn't seem to need a remaster upgrade.

JPIII just doesn't quite get the biscuit from me, and I doubt a remaster would either.

And now I'm sitting here by myself talking to myself

Starts at 44min.

It may wind up being the case due to an educated guess, but it has nothing to do with "inside sources" at Universal telling him anything.

Well shit. If they’re all remastered with all of the color/dnr issues fixed, I might have to buy this thing. I’m tempted to just see if my digital copies update with the new transfers and living with that, buying the original movie on disc if it gets released separately later.

Exactly how I feel. The only one I’d want to rebuy is the first JP. I actually really like Lost World and think it’s underrated, but I’m also happy with the current 4K.

I assume the streaming versions will update? I can’t imagine MA/FAH would host two separate versions of the 4K.

I do wish the studio would just confirm what has been done rather than us having to guess until the actual release. Especially since sometimes “upgrades” end up being worse. But I guess that’s part of their MO, get people to pre-order without knowing what they are actually getting because we’re worried it’ll sell out.

I'm tempted to get both, but I haven't seen the movies from the 2nd trilogy, so can't make up my mind right now. Can you cancel MU Pre-Orders? I have the 1rst trilogy ordered with Amazon.

Also, I have the first movie on FAH in 4K. What will happen when I redeem the bundle? Do they update the movies on FAH when new releases are made?

With only 3 discs I don’t see why they would be, 2 overlapping on the right and a single on the left is the norm for a 3 disc steelbook.

I hope Universal did a job similar to Universal release of Twister 4k, another Amblin production.

Any chance we'll see JP and JW get a separate 4k release in DV/DA? Also, would like to see the OG DTS track available on JP 4k.
