Default Your PS3 gaming TV: Post It!

Do you have an LCD, or a Plasma? Which brand, model? Are you happy with it? Any input lag?

Here's the one I'll be using with my future PS3:

Dude post pics in your gallery.

How long do you play for at a time? do you get image retention?

Take the stickers off your TV.

And by the way, your TV sucks compared to a Panasonic, not to mention the 850U.

that's actually not a picture of my TV in particular... but yes i do still have the stickers on.
and i'm still running full contrast floor model settings lol.

to answer saprano's question althuogh he didn't ask me.
i get image retention, mostly from rock band, other than that, it's nothing a few minutes of the gradient wash can't take care of.

the image retention from rock band is ridiculous though, it takes the wash about 20-45 minutes to get rid of it, depending on how long i've had the game running.

still i'd take image retention over LCD trailing any day of the week and 2x on saturday morning.

edit: anyoen here have one of those 240Hz TVs? those look ****en killer at the sonystyle store.

Your tv is a plasma right? i thought it was an LCD. what about burn in?

believe it or not i've experienced image retention when i played COD4 even though i have an LCD. this was a couple of months after i got my tv a year and half ago. i dont get any rentention at all now though.

You should lower your constrast and backlight. that will help.

mines in my sig

funny you should mention input lag, it's the biggest thing gamers should look at IMO, i dont really have an idea, i'll check a few review sites but i will be upgrading next year or maybe year after under 5yr guarantee, mine has clouding but i want worthwhile upgrade, kinda cheeky but the input lag, i want is 0

Ultimately i hope to have a 50-60" OLED input lag free but were talking years away, PS4 will probably be out then if not longer but will be the best for gaming, razor sharp images & perfect motion

Panasonic TC-32LX700

Super duper sharp panel. I have it set at - 11 if that's any indication of how ridiculously sharp this thing can be.

Viewing angles....what viewing angles?

Colors are really natural and well balanced. Pure yellows (like car paint) do tend to blow out a bit.

Great shadow detail.

Black levels are good for an LCD, but it does struggle with night scenes or poorly lit areas.

No perceivable input lag. I'm sure there is a little bit, but I didn't have problems kicking ass in UT3 for awhile.

Near flawless motion enhancer. Seriously, 98% of the time it is pure greatness. Thankfully too, because you can't turn it off! The only visual artifact I've ever noticed is in Casino Royale's opening foot chase, there is a fast pan down the length of a corscrew tube thing at a construction site, and part of the tube distorts for probably a single frame. That's the only problem I've ever personally noticed.

Also works great as a computer monitor for 32 inch PC gaming via DVI - HDMI cable.

This is probably one of the best 32 LCDs ever made and even though its 2 years old now, I'd put it up against current 32 inchers and I bet it'd be in the top 3.

How about we use the Home Theather Pics option given to us by the admins, instead of waisting space in a thread?

Westinghouse 32" LCD 720p/1080i. Don't have the model number at the moment.

Was a pretty cheap TV when I bought it, and Best Buy already had to replace the board in it once. But, it's a great gaming monitor. No lag, and no viewing angle issues.
