for what it's worth, i have done several trades with buster, and no problems, in fact i owe him some as he sent stuff before i had a chance to ship it (i will do so soon). for those of you who know me, know what kinda guy I am, from HDD as well avforums.

Things go wrong sometimes. From past experience, I do not trade on this place as the rules seem to be different depending on who does things, and I don't need that kinda bother in my life.

Tiny, if you need anything, lemme know, and hope things work out. If not, forget this place and trade on HDD.

Things do go wrong, human error, post goes missing. It's happened with things I have sent out. I have sent things recorded delivery and that has gone missing. I put a claim in and received my money back after 3 weeks. I had to refund the buyer before I got my money back though but that's all part of the business.

I just dont understand why he automatically called me a lier because my item never arrived.
He didn't once apologise or other me a refund or replacment.

serp i have not traded with you, but know your nick from avforums. i have traded with buster, and so i can vouch for both of you. but seriously, is all this hassle really worth it? how much did you loose in terms of money? I mean how much you actually paid as opposed to what you managed to sell it for? lemme fill you in on my work day - a 2yo kid managed to pull a tv onto her head and she died. (i can send you the bbc link if you like.)

so you lost a steelbook. sux to be you.

don't take this personally, but really, both you and buster need to chill out, take a step back and figure out whether a blu ray here or there is really the end of the world or not.

Oh so sorry, thats really sad.

Does make you think about life when things like that happen. I know I would be in pieces if that was my child..

You're going to be banned on HDD too. Watch. There working on it at AVF or whatever that is as well.

Where's my PM for my movies? Oh yeah, you're just trying to look good.

Did any of you people read my side??? He messed up, not me. He owes me. I don't care what any of you think, you have almost no REAL info on these situations. He's been caught, and now he's PM'ing all you guys to save himself. Too bad he's having these problems on multiple forums, but none of you knew that.

he never pmed me about sticking up for him, I was just stating that I have never had issues with any transaction from him and believe him to be an honest and great member here at blu-ray.com and hopefully you guys can work out your differences. Anyhoo, I browse through HDD and have never noticed any issues with him over there other than your little thread about the media mail issue.

Gives it away to who???

The few people of thousands on that forum that have traded with someone from Washington. Here's a secret, Washington has more people in it than him. Nobody could have known. I'm done with this shit.

You are all backing him up but none of you actualy know anything about it.

You have all had good experience with him in the past but I hope the next time you buy something from him and your parcel goes missing or is damaged in transit then what? Will he be as nice then? He will probably call you a lier and scammer...

I sent him a steelbook as a trade but I didn't receive any steelbook from him. He keeps going on about me scamming him but what sort of scam would it be if I sent him something and didn't get anything in return.

Oh yes I scammed how silly am I? I scammed him by sending him the steelbook which he has received and now has listed to sell for $40 even though he complained about it being damaged, but he doesn't mention it being damaged in his sale thread.

Does that really sound like I am the scammer?
What do I gain from all this?

It shows you all what sort of guy he is that he doesn't reply to pms, questions in the thread and doesn't even apologies for the loss of parcel. As soon as you question him he gets all aggressive and starts calling me a lier and scammer.

An imature man who doesn't have the decency to do the right thing when something goes wrong...

Well put.. He has no proof of posting so he should offer me some sort or conpensation. I had proof of posting and we all know he received it. If it went missing then I would have to do the same but I would have claimed the money back from the post ofice...

Not that I want to get involved with this mess, but this is from the rules sticky thread in the exchange forum:

Quote:
All trades/sales must be mailed using "Delivery Confirmation". This is to protect the person sending the trade, as well as the person receiving it.
Tiny admitted he didn't get a DC#. Thus he should man up and make things right. As it stands, he's at fault. No amount of people backing his feedback up changes the fact that he violated a blu-ray.com trading rule. Thus this is probably a main reason why he's suspended.

But on the serpico one, you really cannot expect him to ship your item back. This is a classic "claims fraud" scheme. You live outside the USA so there is no tracking info. You ship first for having low feedback then get people to side with you? Not happening. He could end up sending the sweeney steelbook and you could claim that dooesn't show up due to him STILL NOT BEING ABLE TO GET DELIVERY CONFIRMATION OUTSIDE USA. I highly suggest you just trade with people in your country.

I only trade with USA members because it's cheaper, quicker, and there is always proof. The customs in a lot of other countries are complete shit. Especially Italy (not saying you're fromt here, just from experience).
I started a thread selling Hancock and stated uk only but will consider outside if buyer pays the extra. He contacted me to trade and when I mentioned I had Sweeney Todd he preferred that one. Why should I lose out because he didn't get proof of posting? He never mentioned anything about it to me and it was his decission to trade. I managed to get proof of posting, so why couldn't he?

I couldn't get delivery confirmation but still had a receipt with his address and postal stamp for any claims if the parcel never turned up.

Dont make it out like it's my fault because I trusted someone from another country who obviously has lied all the way through this procedure.

He doesn't even respond to any messages or pms, get's other people to fight his battle.

It's a shame how a so called top guy can not even offer any apollogy or conpensation. WHAT A LOAD OF CRAP!!!

It's not my fault either. So why should I lose out? So you cant get any proof of posting?

The points you are making just pointless...

I sent him a pm and told him sweeney had been despatched. He replied saying yours is packaged and I should be going tomorrow to post. Didn't have any confirmation pm that he actually posted it.

I waited and waited and still not had anything, when I asked him when did he post it he replied stating that he thought he had told me but he didn't. He still hasn't confirmed postal date or delivery address.. I smell something like bull >>>>

Also if the customs are so crap in this country why did he decide to trade?

You are basically making the point that most items go missing, so that confims my point that I didn't receive the parcel and I should be offered some conpensation...
