I've written in similar threads many times... So may as well chip in with this one too
  • Matrix Reloaded: The Burly Brawl
  • Transformers: Blackout tears Soccent asunder
  • Star Wars Episode II: The Asteroid "seismic charge" scene. And anything from the final 45 minutes on Geonosis ... The rest of the film they can keep
  • Wanted: "Train scene"
  • Iron Man: Stark saves the people of Gulmira (sp?)
  • Star Trek: Free fall from orbit/fight on the drill/Narada arrives in the past and tears the Kelvin a new one!/The finale
  • Die Hard 4: Shoot out in Farrel's apartment
  • Transformers 2: Shanghai/Forest Fight/The Desert finale
  • G.I Joe: Paris
I have many many more believe me! But these scenes are at the forefront of my most beloved action scenes collection

No, it's not. Not by a longshot. His best fight is the one already mentioned from Drunken Master 2. It lasts something like 18 minutes and is undeniably incredible. Another good one would be in Gorgeous. There's a rooftop fight that took my breath away. Incredible stuff.
The rooftop fight was in Who Am I. That is the one where he is just fighting two guys and then he slides down the long slanted roof, freefall at the end.

That one is good. Other Chan fights I like:
- Construction site in Mr. Nice Guy
- Fights with tiny Australian guy in Gorgeous
- Fight to prove himself worthy of questing for the stolen book in Spiritual Kung Fu
- Native American throwdown and final battle in Shanghai Noon

Just a few that come to mind.

Any of the fight scenes in Undisputed 2 (if you like hand to hand combat and have not seen that film, you owe it to urself)

The highway scene in Matrix 2

Tony Jaa fighting the three big guys in The Protector

Clive Owen in Shoot 'Em Up when he shoots all the bad guys who were on the stairs while he was coming down

Jet Li and Jackie Chan fight in The Forbidden Kingdom

Transporter 3 when Jason Statham fights all the guys in the shop while having a conversation with the mechanic

Apocalypto; the whole movie after the guy starts running and he kills all of them one by one

Kate Beckinsale fighting/killing any vampires/warewolves is defintely good action for me

The last fight scene in Never Back Down

All the war scenes in 300

Thats what I can come up with now but there are plenty more.

Fight over the Sarlacc pit in ROTJ. I Remember seeing this when I was a kid, and almost falling over when Luke first ignited his green lightsaber. To this day it is one of my favorite scenes.

Death Star battle (both).
Anakin/Obi Wan battle in ROTS.
Qui Gonn/Obi Wan/Maul battle in TPM.
First battle between Aliens and Marines in ALIENS.
Lobby battle in the Matrix.
Battle for Helms Deep in LOTR: Two Towers.

And many more.

finale of Arlington Road

every action scene is 8 Diagram Pole Fighter

human 'Donkey Kong' scene in Chocolate - if you've seen it you know what I'm talking about.

final car chase The Road Warrior

fight on the poles Iron Monkey

ladder fight Once Upon A Time In China

wire sliding scene The Good, The Bad, The Weird

escalator scene Total Recall too bad the MPAA made Verhoeven cut more of the gore out.

~

not a favourite per se, but most effective use of action for dramatic purpose

finale of United 93 - tense, unnerving, ultimately devasting, I was in tears.

Agreed, probably the best action scene ever filmed.

The opening ski scene and jump in The Spy Who Loved Me was pretty fantastic. In 1977 that was the most ambitious movie stunt ever filmed.

Ah, that's right. It was Who Am I? Thanks for clarifying. It's been awhile since I've seen either film.
