Agreed. Everyone didn't give it a chance from the start because Kate wasn't in it. If you have seen and liked the other two movies, I don't see any reason you wouldn't like this one.

Sorry about this part, I normally hate to do this.... but you own a 42" 480P extended definition plasma, 32" LCD and a Home Theater in a Box. Not to be a jerk but that's hardly is what I would call proper reviewing equipment.

PS: Grain is a GOOD thing, it's holds image detail

all the vampires eyes turn blue when they "vamp up" (fangs come out, eyes turn blue etc..)

Additionally, all three films were also shot with blue filters on the cameras so everything has a slightly blue tint.

Unless they are an elder? Did Selene's eyes do that? Victor's are always blue.

can't remember about Victor but Amelia was blue being that the only time you saw her she was under attack and was in "vamp" mode

The story lines for the Underworld universe are pretty much limitless. I would like to see a story about Amelia as well. However, according to IMDB (grain of salt) Underworld 4 is set to follow Evolution. Therefore, a story involving Amelia would be difficult.

The fact that 4 is set after Evolution is why I said it would be impossible for Amelia to be in 4. (that was directed more towards Malik) I wouldn't mind more involving her, but I don't know if they'll go back and do yet another prequel type movie.

Personally, I haven't seen Rise of the Lycans yet and I doubt I will. The first two films were the best, I thought and Underworld: Evolution wrapped up the story begun in the first movie. I'm hoping to catch Underworld 4.

RotL just seemed to just be made to tell the origin of what happened prior to the events in the first movie. Also, I had heard that scenes of Selene and the events that started Underworld were spliced into the ending of RotL.

Rise of the Lycans is actually my favorite of the three, and I'm a huge fan of the first. I really like Michael Sheen, and I thought the movie was a lot more fun than Evolution. It's definitely work a look.

It'd be my favourite of the 3 but I like Kate a lot more than I like Rhona so 1 is still my favourite.

Like I said, the reason 3 is my favorite is because I really like Michael Sheen. He's a great actor and a total badass as Lucian so a full movie for his story is ok with me! Plus, Bill Nighy as well, more of him is always a good thing to me

And the ending is badass! Overall, I just really love Rise of the Lycons
