hi, i just got the underworld rise of the lycan for 15 at sears. not sure if it worth it. dont know if i should return it so i can extra funds when better movies comes out. what do you guys think about this movie? i heard mixed reviews and not sure if i should keep it

The movie is crap. I've heard some not-so-good things about the transfer too.

Reviews Are Biased. Since Kate wasn't in the movie.

It was a good movie but not great for someone who is a hardcore Kate fan.

It was a good movie IMO, just different from the other two and sadly no Kate. Watch it and judge for yourself wether on not to keep it.

I liked it. One of the worst transfers I own on blu-ray though...reaaallllly grainy, and not the good kind of grain.

This is one of those movies and franchises, that divides people right down the middle. You either like it, or you don't. Personally, I thought this movie ok. Could it have been better...sure! Did it suck, I didn't think so. Being a fan of the franchise, I had to see it. Liked it enough that I knew when it was released on BD, I'd get it, and not regret it. Then again, I don't really buy a movie without having seen it first!

Ok, to get an honest short review. If you are a fan of the Underworld series, you will enjoy the movie. The only reason not to is if you only liked Underworld because of Kate Beckinsale or you don't like this type of movie. I love Kate as much as the next person, but her absence in this was because it was a prequel. Also, the transfer was fine. I didn't notice any major problems with it. It was on par with the other two Underworld movies in PQ, with maybe the first one being a little better overall.

BTW, love the -1 you put in there, shadblz.

I am going to watch this again movie because I am on the side of those who think the movie is crap. In fact, RoL is in my to sell pile.

Really good movie. Lots of action and romance. What a dark fantasy movie should be.

Lol. Yeah. I thought Jurassic Park 3, Terminator 3 and Godfather 3 were the best of their respective series too, because I watched them first.

I thought it was good with A good transfer , There was some gran But nothing out of the ordinary ! Maybe the grain was left there because it is depicting something that happened 100's of years ago !
The sound track was vary well done & will give the subs A workout .
