I never really got into the cartoon (I'm actually old enough to know that G.I. Joe used to be one man, not a team). I went to see this in theaters with no expectations and I really liked it alot. As most have said, it's not an Oscar winner, but I thought it was entertaining.

The price is likely a placeholder like a lot of movies have when they first go on sale (pre-order).

The Amazon pre-order has now removed the November 3rd release date.

Amazon.ca still says November 3. Seems likely, a lot of finger point to that date. Also, videoeta is predicting November and should officially confirm it by next week, but as I said everything seems to say the 3rd, and as there aren't anything really big coming that week yet, it seems the most likely, as the rest of November is booked solid.

The only thing that bugs me is that Star Trek was released by the same studios (Paramount and Spyglass) exactly 3 months earlier, and yet comes out on BD 2 weeks earlier. This year has been so screwed up with July and August releases coming in October/ November and May/ June films coming in November/ December.

It's kinda all about money. Star Trek is a big money maker and it's still playing at my local dollar theater in town. G.I. Joe, ain't s*** compared to it.

worst cover EVER, people complain about other covers, this is the first cover i TRULY HATE!!! Would of preferred the 1 disc version.

I also hate when they put "Digital Copy" in the title. I wish they would just put a sticker on the front saying it's included. Once the DC is used, it's no longer a "Digital Copy Edition". Ah well...that's not stopping me from buying on day 1. Even though I have this suspicion this will be a $19.99 title closer to Christmas. Seems like a great choice to help push player sales.

I like the cover alot, snake eyes looks awesome. I do agree though that baroness pic would have been even better.

Snake Eyes is awesome but that cover is very lazy and downright cheap looking.

And a Rachel Nichols/Sienna Miller bikini cover would make for a great limited edition cover.

How about a bunch a girls with almost nothing on that as no relation to what the movie is about, like the old pulp scifi magasine from the 30's & 40's
