I watched Twister every day for about 14 days straight in High School. One of my buddies worked at the theater, so a bunch of us made a marathon run. I can still spot EVERY SINGLE mistake. Some of the viewings were private midnight showings with coolers of drinks and JUST us in the theater... AHH, those were the days.

(We would "pause" the movie for bathroom runs.)

"Jurassic Park." I was 8 years old when it hit theaters and my parents took me, of course. We were all blown away. Altogether, I saw it a dozen times in theaters. Ten times with my parents, twice with a friend and his family.

It was the film to open my mind to the artform. It forever changed the way I looked at movies. Even at 8, I knew its importance.

Probably The Karate Kid and E.T. The local theater used to play them as a double feature back to back all day. I would go in the morning and watch them 4 times a day and go back the next. At one time, I knew every bit of dialogue in The Karate Kid.

I really cannot be certain. As I have memory lapses.
I can say I have already seen Avatar three times.

It had to be E.T. for me. I must have watched it 8 times in the theater.

Probably the original Star Wars ( now known as Ep.4 ). But my memory of that time period is certainly unreliable at best.

Star Wars VII. Twice. Only went a second time because the first one was in 3D, which I remembered is utter crap. Never watching a 3D movie again.

Technically it was Star Wars: A New Hope over a dozen times in 1977. I was about 10 months old and my mom really wanted to see this new movie and brought me first week. She said I would stop crying as soon as the opening music started and since she loved the movie she thought it was a win/win

Star Wars: A New Hope. I saw it when it was first released at least 5 times, and I went to several of the re-releases.

Forrest Gump - 9 times in 1994.

What can I say? It was a troubling time for me.
