Same here. I've watched my copy of TBTR at least 4 times since I got it in September and would never dream of watching the truncated U.S. version. I love every minute (and then some) of the UK version!

![]() I was going to pick this up, but at 29.99 I'll have to wait. Seriously why do studios charge so much for some titles. Would they rather delay sales and piss off customers just to rip[ off a few initial people who blind buy or don't care about cost. |

Reviving an old thread alert...
Bought and watched the BD of a favourite recently... Love Actually. The SO said what do you know about 'The Boat That Rocked'? As she had seen it's also a Richard Curtis movie. Long story short, read the Blu-Ray.com review, read this thread, went out this morning and found a copy of The Boat That Rocks... Now because we're the same region, the bulk of our stuff is sourced from the UK. I see the running time on the cover says 130 minutes... It also says in the Extras there are 46 minutes of deleted scenes... Usually we get British print BD's with locally printed covers, which I don't mind. (SA print BD's are crap, sadly) Neither of us have seen a minute of the movie, not even a trailer, but we're about to go watch and (I'm sure) enjoy! ![]() |

You can find it new or used on Amazon US, but it's quite a bit more expensive for the new copies. I just recently purchased a used copy from Amazon seller in the U.S. for approx. $10. Not that I have anything against importing from the UK, but I just didn't feel like waiting nearly two weeks to get it.
